The sun spots have stopped, quite a few times, this is the sort of thing that leads to a NATURAL cooling. Now, Natural cooling + MAN MADE warming does what? Well it depends on how much of each. The problem isn't the cooling, the problem is the natural warming after the natural cooling,

With man-made global warming on top of natural warming, we could potentially push this over the edge. Now, a period of global cooling doesn't mean much if we take it that we can do more damage to the planet, because when it comes back around again, and it will, we're going to push it over the edge.
