Zealots, hired guns, good Germans—call them what you will, but it would be hard to call the men and women of the Drug Enforcement Administration dummies.

The DEA does not hire just anyone; its agents are the out-performers and overachievers among law enforcement—maybe not quite FBI or CIA material, but still head-and-shoulders above the cops spending careers doing traffic stops in small towns.

All this to say, the DEA is aware of science and it is aware of data. It cannot preach ignorance. But ..............

The only reason there has been a scare tactic on pot is because the Government had too much money to lose in multiple areas. The only way to keep that going is to keep pot illegal.
The method they used is easy once again it started in the Government " Say no to drugs " where our trusted authority figure parents started the brainwashing of it, then it trickeled down into the schools where the indoctriantion to scare the hell out of people is really impacted and the choice to walk away from it wasn't there because why it's the " LAW" you have to put your kid in school , and why is it a law when it shouldn't be.
