Zone1 For those who believe the USA is the Democracy, read this.

Because so few have an allegiance to their country. Thanks for making my point
People can be proud and patriotic to their country without pledging allegiance to a flag or person. The West in general has eroded due to Left Wing ideology.

And now every election is decided by 5 or 6 swing states. Most candidates do not even bother going to half or more of the state

Wasn't it Hillary who called the central 40 states the "flyover states? Trump seems to get around. Biden is lucky to go more than 100 miles from DC. The fact that we even have blue or red states now indicates we have a real problem in our elections. Used to be that there were few if any states that didn't go from red to blue or back from election to election, but as the democrat party has become for radical and extreme, they have seized control of several states like CA and NY effectively fixing every election by PARTY irregardless of who was running! So naturally the other states have tended to lean more the other way in compensation, leaving only a few "swing" states left which are actually still variable not fixed by any given party.

It goes way further back the Hillary.

The Oxford English Dictionary’s first citation for flyover country is from 1980, 59 years after “fly-over” was first used to describe an aircraft passing over a place, and about 30 years after the advent of nonstop transcontinental commercial flights. Thomas McGuane began an Esquire article about the landscape painter Russell Chatham with the line: “Because we live in flyover country, we try to figure out what is going on elsewhere by subscribing to magazines.”

As for the rest of your mindless rant blaming the entire problem on the Dems....you are part of the problem.

Any nation whose people vote to elect their representatives is a Democracy

Not all Republics are Democracies
The distinction needs to be made, because Democrat goals appear to be getting a majority and then using mob force to silence/censor their opposition through their media/social media, judicial, and gov't enforcement arms.

Mob rule (aka "Democracy") isn't moral. People need protections, and if you want to be more specific, be more specific (aka "Constitutional republic")

I think the Democrats want to abuse their power, and would sacrifice Constitutional ethics to do so.

No one advocating for the end to the electoral college is calling for eliminating the Constitution or its protections. We simply want every vote to count equally and for the candidate who gets the most votes to win. It's you folks who can't explain why we need to keep an antiquated electoral college system who's original design was to help Slave States gain more representation than their voting population itself would garner them.

Another lie. Leftists openly advocate for ending the ec and the Constitution. You hate it white boy.

So, let me get this straight…
Republicans have no goal to get a majority?

Is that why they try to rule from a minority?

Who's advocating to end the constitution? Some rando you found online? :dunno:

One can have a majority and respect the institutions in government and not abuse them, as Democrats have more than anyone.

They send goons from the DOJ to arrest innocent conservatives, they collude with media to censor political opponents, suppressing free-speech via proxy. You know this.

We have this thing called the Constitution that protects the rights of the minority

In theory yes. But as you know, in practice, a judge can do whatever he wants to you as you stand there.. and you have to sue the judge and take action afterwards to get your "justice".

Government can act outside of consitutional law, they do it all the time.

Hell, look at your Democrat idols speak against border constitutional law on a daily basis.

Are you this aloof?

So you want to disband the 6-3 Supreme Court?

Yes, 6-3

Conservatives whine about being victimized by the courts but celebrate the decisions coming out of the conservative court system built by Mitch McConnell

Well, the justices nominated from republicans aren’t hard line partisans… they commonly rule against major conservative interests. Judge Roberts is a prime example

Democrats appointments are made not only with far more hardline politicians/activists.. but based on racism and sexism.. they don’t think people of color or women can get on the court on their own merits, they have to disqualify other races and men. Soft bigotry 101
conservative court system built by Mitch McConnell
Huh? How is the SCOTUS built by Mitch McConnell?
