Sooooooo....what is the difference? The trump flag.....the white skin.....Tell me the difference between the trump mob beating police and a black man asking to breathe?
The difference is that the black man asking to breathe had overdosed on fentanyl and was going to die regardless of anything the cops did. They didn't have the necessary equipment and drugs to counter the amount of drugs in his system, and the emergency services didn't arrive in enough time to save him.

Of course, the angry mob demands a blood sacrifice, so either Chauvin will be the sacrifice, or the city will be it.

It's amazing how much smarter you are on calling the reason for death over medical experts who EXAMINED his body and came up with a different conclusion.
Follow the trial. The most recent evidence shows that the amount of drugs he consumed to cover for his dealer was fatal in its own right.

The doctors said the drugs didn't kill him.
Depends on the doctor. Cardiac arrest and drugs, not low oxygen, caused Floyd's death, defense expert says

He was paid to say that, now what did the doctors who actually examined Floyd say?
You don't think bias comes into play with them as well -- especially when a case has been heavily politicized by the media and the city is under the threat of more riots?

So the Emergency Room Doctor is lying as well as the Medical Examiner.

The ER doctor, no. The medical examiner, maybe.

Either way, it doesn't appear that Chauvin can be conclusively blamed for Floyd's death.

If you don't want him to be, the ER doctor is the first one to work on him so I am pretty sure he would know.

No...he could have been arrested and that was that. But the cop decided to place his knee on his neck for an extended period of time....Why? Because the cop wanted to teach him a lesson. He did....now the cop will pay for his vengeance.

No, it's police procedure when they have a tanked up suspect that they need to keep still. Watch any cops show that has a cameraman in the car when they respond to calls. They all do it.

Show us a show where the cop had his knee on a man's neck for over 9 mins.

Today's republicans have the mindset of the sheet wearers from the early 20th century.
Sure ...

And, Obama was a Christian too wasn't he.

You Leftist are so driven by your hated for others that you have lost all sight of reality.

Where does the Constitution claim you have to be a Christian, America is a Christian Nation and look at the atrocities she has done on her citizens of color. Were they actions Christ like?

What can you say here: Blacks are far larger threat to other blacks than white racism or police OR that moralistic or statistical abstraction "racism" now in 2018, 2019 2020 or NOW. Why this obsessive focus on white cops if it isn't meant to demonize whites and the police?

The MSM is mainly responsible for spreading that nonsense of black men being hunted down like wild savages and slain for sport....just pure nonsense.

The question being.....why do they engage in such idiocy? For ratings they will do anything .....stir up all kinds of trouble including riots, looting and burning.

The duration of time is irrelevant. Either it's standard police procedure or it's not. The defense of Chauvin is that this technique was taught to him like thousands of other officers at the police academy. The police academy does not teach recruits fatal moves. Given the fact I've seen police officers from all around the country use this move tells me this is not something he came up with on his own.

Cops are suppose to UPHOLD the LAW not break the Law. It is amazing how when cops break the law folks like you think it is ok and that black folks should just turn the other cheek and accept it.

The duration of time is irrelevant. Either it's standard police procedure or it's not. The defense of Chauvin is that this technique was taught to him like thousands of other officers at the police academy.

If that is the case, why has everyone from the Police Chief down claimed differently?

Lt. Johnny Mercil, the Minneapolis Police Department's use-of-force instructor, testified on Tuesday at former Officer Derek Chauvin's trial that when officers are taught ways to restrain aggressive suspects, they are shown how to place their knee on a back or shoulder and told to "stay away from the neck when possible."

Jody Stiger, a Los Angeles Police Department sergeant, also testified on Tuesday as a prosecution use-of-force expert. Stiger said when Floyd was resisting efforts to get him into a squad car, officers were justified in using force, but once he was on the ground and no longer resisting, officers "should have slowed down or stopped their force as well." After watching video of Floyd's arrest, Stiger said his "opinion was that the force was excessive."

Records submitted to the court on Tuesday show that in 2016, Chauvin took a 40-hour course on how to de-escalate situations involving people in crisis, and in 2018 underwent training in the use of force. Mercil said officers who attended that training were told they needed to use the least amount of force required to get a suspect to cooperate.

Training officer testifies Chauvin was taught to avoid putting pressure on a suspect's neck (yahoo.com)

Displaying a photo of Chauvin holding his knee on Floyd's neck and looking up at a bystander, prosecutor Steven Schleicher asked Mercil, "Is this an MPD-trained neck restraint?" "No sir," Mercil replied.

He added that a "knee on the neck would be something that does happen in the use of force that is not unauthorized."

How long such a restraint is applied would depend on the level of resistance the subject is offering, Mercil said. When the prosecutor asked if the method would be authorized if someone is under control and handcuffed, he replied, "I would say no."

Mercil also said that in some cases, it might be appropriate to put a knee on someone during handcuffing – and to keep a knee there if the subject is still trying to thrash around or kick people. But he also said that people who are in handcuffs and are in the prone position should be moved either to the recovery position – on their side – or to a sitting or standing position, to avoid positional asphyxiation.

As for when a person who is no longer resisting should be moved from a prone position, Mercil said, "I would say sooner the better."

Chauvin's Restraint On Floyd's Neck Isn't Taught By Police, Use-Of-Force Trainer Says : Live Updates: Trial Over George Floyd's Killing : NPR

The police academy does not teach recruits fatal moves. Given the fact I've seen police officers from all around the country use this move tells me this is not something he came up with on his own.

So in your eyes it is not possible that he broke protocol.
