Food you have never tried but wonder if you might have missed something

But what of pineapples?
My wife would only eat pizza if it had it on it. I was not a fan but to make her happy I'd just get it and pick mine off, or, go for a half and half and pick toppings for my side.

Never tried it, it wasn't available, sometimes whole wheat which isn't much better really.

I'd like to try cauliflower crust some day, homemade even perhaps, too lazy though.

.

Another favorite that includes anchovies -- pasta alla puttanesca, or "the harlot's way". Loaded with salty, briny and fishy sass. It has anchovies, kalamata olives, pancetta and capers.

My second favorite Italian dish.

I’ve tried to enjoy lamb, never had it at all growing up. It looks appetizing and I eat a lot of meat.

But the couple times I’ve tried it, its just expensive and tastes weird

Sardines. I read an artixle about tinned sardines and started thinking about it. Ive alwaus avoided them. Oily little fish with the bones still in them. Never fancied them. But I might be persuaded.

Bagels is another one. They just havent been part of my culture. They look like a bread roll with a hole in the middle. I cant see the attraction but im willing to try if its worth my while.

What things have you missed that you might like to try ?

Nothing, if I missed it, it probably isn't very good. I'm not a foodie. I've lived in plenty of countries where their attitude is "it has to have meat in it" and I don't eat meat.

The solution, as I see it, is really simple: pick your pineapple off, then give it all to your wife. This way, both parties are happy.

I use Tatar sauce with my Calamari !
What's wrong with that? I thought tartar sauce was for ALL seafood? Unless I am missing something?

Nah, you can still taste the juice remnants on the pizza. For the last time, no greatly sweet stuff on a main dish! Dammit!!

/—-/ In NY it’s marinara sauce and nothing else.
