Ayman al-Zawahiri was by far the most important figure who was left on the list. He was co-leader along with Usama bin Laden and Mohammed Atef. That he is dead is a very good thing.

Saif al-Adel is now by far the most important figure left on the list. He was effectively the right hand of the leaders, but that is still not nearly as important as the leaders themselves.
