Notice how there is no information regarding the rate of deaths among those who got a shot vs. those who did not. Absent that detail, this information is useless and dangerous, There could be any number of reasons why the senior death rate has increased -if in fact that is even true. This is the kind of irresponsible crap that costs peoples lives,

OMG! My first job out of school, the doctor I worked for decided I'd give him his flu shot that year! Talk about getting a lump in my throat! It was the first time I ever stuck a needle into a person!

If I had contracted a bad flu, I may have tried a flu shot. I never did, so no flu shots. Not doing shingles vax either.

If you work at a hospital or volunteer in a hospital they will require you to take the flu shot, likely because the belief is if you are sick and cause vulnerable patients to catch your virus it will be in a weakened state. Flu shots are usually strain specific, so it might, or might not, help against something different than what your vax was for.

I've had the yearly flu shot for many years. No bad reactions, hardly even a sore arm. I'm and old fart too. I haven't had the flu since taking those shots.

I've had both shingles shots and I've got mixed emotions. I got pretty sick after one of them. I got them about three years ago.

Flu-like symptoms and the actual flu are different things

The chills and fever some people get from the vaccine are a minor annoyance that goes away in a day or two

The actual flu can be life threatening for medically frail people
