Florida Rep: Do not deport our work force.

There will be repercussions from getting shed of the illegals but that's fine....Nobody said it would be easy.

Full speed ahead!
Yep. Increased wages big big big for the same work. As it SHOULD BE. Wage hawks are awful folk.

One has to kinda chuckle. Not that it was ever going to happen but here is one of Florida's Congresspersons telling Trump to not deport their work force.

It's been noted it isn't going to happen anywhere and this largely supports that. I guess this makes Florida a "Sanctuary State".

Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.) is urging President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to spare some migrants from Latin America and the Caribbean from being deported under the new administration’s immigration guidelines.

Her workforce consists of poeple who commit violent felonies and people with final orders of removal?

They need to make violent criminals the priority. Once that element is gone and we have a secured border then we can decide how to handle the rest.

Here we have a member of Congress telling the President not to enforce the law. If that is not grounds for censure I don't know what would be.

How about allow actual workers in, legally and tracked? With no path to citizenship, just temporary workers?
And their children born here??? Citizens, or not? Do we vaccinate or school them, or not?

Are these temporary visas like the H2B visas that Trump uses at his resorts?

I know my state in the summer uses H2b visas for all of their hotels and some restaurants in the summertime when we have about 20 times our yearly population from visitors and vacationers and not a large enough local workforce to fill the jobs....

It will take 20 years to find those with warrants and not what Trump promised.

The issue seems to be the option for Ag. companies and farmers and and small business to violate federal as well as state an local law by treating people who are illegally in the U.S. like virtual slaves with low wages and untaxed salaries. How do you justify something like that?

US Law: Do not hire illegals.

You don't see the employers complaining do you?

They know they are safe and there will be no problem finding replacements.

Why would any kids need to be here?

If the men are working temporarily, their families can remain in their lovely tropical country and raise them there.

It's already been decided.

If they are single or sadly even married, they can get a woman pregnant, who may or may not be a citizen.
