One has to kinda chuckle. Not that it was ever going to happen but here is one of Florida's Congresspersons telling Trump to not deport their work force.
It's been noted it isn't going to happen anywhere and this largely supports that. I guess this makes Florida a "Sanctuary State".
Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.) is urging President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to spare some migrants from Latin America and the Caribbean from being deported under the new administration’s immigration guidelines.

And their children born here??? Citizens, or not? Do we vaccinate or school them, or not?How about allow actual workers in, legally and tracked? With no path to citizenship, just temporary workers?
They need to make violent criminals the priority. Once that element is gone and we have a secured border then we can decide how to handle the rest.
US Law: Do not hire illegals.Florida Rep: Do not deport our work force.
Why would any kids need to be here? And their children born here??? Citizens, or not? Do we vaccinate or school them, or not?
Are these temporary visas like the H2B visas that Trump uses at his resorts?
I know my state in the summer uses H2b visas for all of their hotels and some restaurants in the summertime when we have about 20 times our yearly population from visitors and vacationers and not a large enough local workforce to fill the jobs....
I haven’t been watching employers. I’m busy watching football. You don't see the employers complaining do you?
It's already been decided. They need to make violent criminals the priority. Once that element is gone and we have a secured border then we can decide how to handle the rest.
