According to a new poll conducted by AtlasIntel between January 21 and 23, 69 percent of Black voters approve of Trump's job performance, compared to 50 percent of white voters. Meanwhile, 31 percent of Black voters disapprove of Trump's job performance, compared to 49 percent of White voters.

Overall, those polled were split over whether they approve or disapprove of Trump's job performance, with 50 percent saying they approve and 50 percent saying they disapprove. The poll surveyed 1,882 people, of which 9 percent were Black, and had a margin of error of +/- 2 percent.

AtlasIntel was the most accurate pollster in the 2024 president election, correctly predicting Trump to achieve victory in the national popular vote."

"I am very skeptical of the reliability and representativeness of the Black sample. With only ~180 Black respondents, it's hard to make confident conclusions about the results by race, especially considering some of the other results for the Black sub-sample are inconsistent with what I've found in my own work and what other datasets show for Black public opinion."

He added: "For example, no other data shows Black approval of Trump above 50 percent—let alone at 68 percent as AtlasIntel results show (higher than both whites & Latinos). Furthermore, the AtlasIntel data found that Black respondents said the most important issue facing the country was 'Immigration,' whilst other research (including my own work with the Black Voter Project) suggests immigration is NOT a top priority for Black Americans, and falls toward the bottom of the policy list when asked.

What's the point of finding job performance after a week? Nothing has happened, nothing has had an impact.
