"A man accused of killing two children in a hit-and-run crash in South Florida had an outburst in court Wednesday. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that physical evidence led detectives to Sean Charles Greer, 27, who was jailed Tuesday evening. Police said the vehicle had damage consistent with being involved in the crash - the front bumper was missing, which was located at the scene. Andrea Fleming, 6, and Kylie Jones, 5, died at the scene. Draya Fleming, Laziyah Stokes, Johnathan Carter and Audre Fleming were transported to Broward Health Medical Center. Detectives say Greer confessed to his involvement in the crash.
Officials said Greer was driving a 2009 Honda Accord sedan Monday when he veered around a transit bus and hit a group of children on a sidewalk. As the judge read the charges Greer faces, he appeared to walk away from the podium. Deputies attempted to move him back to the podium and he became aggressive and shouted, "You can’t make me stay here!" before being removed from the room."
So apparently, this guy got tired of waiting on a bus to drive off and decided to veer around it; ran up on a sidewalk and struck a group of children, killing 2...Initially, there was talk that this guy was just getting revenge for the guy up in Wisconsin who ran over and killed several people, including a young child.....but the reality is, it was just a guy who made a terrible mistake and unfortunately, some kids lost their life.....but what many people are asking is....where were the parents?? Why were these kids allowed to be out on the street unsupervised?? Yea, the driver is partly wrong for his reckless decision to drive up on the sidewalk; I am sure he meant to drive around the bus on the street side....however, many people are saying that if the parents were in the lives of these kids like they were supposed to be -- those kids wouldn't have never been in harm's way to begin with...
