to be clear though vaccinations work and I am against walls in principle but to claim everyone needs to be vaccinated while doing nothing to stem the tide of folks streaming across the border [whom for some reason you think can only spread disease from their own country] means your argument is political for politics sake, i.e. safety takes a back seat when it comes to allowing in folks you deem necessary to 'do the things you won't do.'

Vaccinations protect a population against diseases such as polio, measles, mumps, smallpox
At one point, those diseases were almost erradicated in this country.
Allowing small pockets of unvaccinated and misinformation on the dangers of vaccines have allowed these diseases to come back

Ask the citizens of Somoa about the measles vax where over 5000 people were infected after Kennedy initiated a campaign to convince them not to get the vaccine. Eighty -three children died because of it.

If you don't want to get a vaccine as an adult...you're pretty dumb if your doctors recommend it.
When you put your kids at risk and they die or are permanently marred, you should be on the hook for legal remedies if the kid wants to pursue them as an adult.
