Florida BANS Driver License Tests in Foreign Languages

Did I say it was the biggest problem? You should address the initial poster. Your Country has more then enough problems of its own
I know it does, I'd be happy to talk about them too, as soon as someone creates a "Britain" forum area like I recently asked for.

What is hard to demand drivers speak the language of the Country they immigrated to?
Who cares?
If they have good driving skills and understand the rules of the road

You are one of those guys who ***** when someone speaks Spanish on line at the supermarket aren’t you?

If a person is functionally illiterate and they luck their way through the written exam, they are not denied a chance to take the road test. If they pass, they get a license.

Also, there is no obligation for a native-born US citizen to speak English in the first place.
In Texas, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and California, you can take the written test in Spanish. In illinois you can take it in Italian, but your hands have to be tied*

*Thats not true.

If they speak their native language that’s fine with me, However to live a Country that you have no desire to learn that native language they don’t belong here

Spanish was native here before English first landed.

That's why most people know it's important to learn. But not required.
Let them find a job where the majority don’t speak their language or go into certain fields and let me know how it works out for them

Where in the Constitution does it say that?

Obviously, it would be more likely they find a job where the majority DO speak their language.

I have driven in Europe and did not speak the language.

I don’t care what language the test is in.
I just want safe drivers

A driver needs to know a STOP sign means stop
65 mph is the speed limit
What a NO LEFT TURN sign means

They do not need to be able to read English
I was stationed in Berlin. I had a USAEUR drivers license. I had to pass a very extensive written test and a sign test where I had to prove that I understood every road sign I would confront as a driver.
