Well to start with, the Justice Department cannot appoint a Special Prosecutor, so this is all just a publicity stunt on behalf of Barr and the outgoing administration.

And to finish with. It's long past time for Durham to shit or get off the pot, as they have been told by more than one judge presiding over a Grand Jury they've called to hear their evidence. In the 2+ years of the Durham Investigation, we have yet to see a single charge of any kind coming out of this investigation. That low level FBI drone charged in the Carter Page FISA Warrant nonsense, was outed by the Inspector General, not the Durham Investigation.

By the time the Meuller Investigation had been in business this long, they had 9 convictions/guilty pleas, and everyone was going to jail. Let's see what they have, or they don't have, but this shit is done.
