You know its bad enough the democrat scum they put in office poisoned their water. But now it seems Flint mayor re-directed charity funds set up to help the victims into her personal campaign account.

"Henderson's lawsuit alleged that Mayor Karen Weaver ordered her assistant and a volunteer to redirect donors from a local fund set up to help families affected by the water crisis to her political action committee instead."

What's is going to take to get these democrats to STOP stealing?

"(Reuters) - A former administrator in Flint, Michigan, charged in a federal lawsuit on Monday that she was fired for seeking a probe into allegations the mayor tried to redirect donations to her personal campaign fund from a charity meant to help families hurt by the city's water crisis."

You have an entire city of children suffering of young minds exposed to lead and you steal from them.

"The lawsuit charged that the city employee was "specifically directed" to instruct people "step-by-step" to donate to the mayor's "Karenabout Flint" fund through its website, rather than the Charity Safe Water/Safe Homes fund through the city's website."

And before all you uppity liberal wiggers start screaming race, check this out...

Lawsuit accuses Flint mayor of trying to redirect water crisis donors to campaign fund

You know, as building codes have been updated - city codes should have also been updated. When it was first learned how dangerous lead is, city systems should have just bitten the bullet (so to speak) and replaced all the lead piping throughout the entire system in the first place. And not to derail the thread, but we should also consider the amount of lead that is being imported into our homes by China (and perhaps other countries) - how many times have we heard about lead contained in children's toys, in our dishes, etc. that are being imported.

Umm... a lawsuit isn't "federal charges", 214-boi.

Oh I agree. And I wonder who wound up with all that tax money paid over the years/decades instead of up grading the system?

Umm... a lawsuit isn't "federal charges", 214-boi.
4th paragraph 1st line "(Reuters) - "A former administrator in Flint, Michigan, charged in a federal lawsuit on Monday"

A charge is made when a complaint is filed. A federal lawsuit is a federal charge. Thank you for displaying your stupidity, please come again.

Uh----- -nnnnnno Stupid. Holy SHIT you're fucking dense. "Federal charge" means a subject has been charged with a federal crime, by federal authorities. The formal term for this is "indictment". As opposed to, say, a charge by local authorities such as petty theft or a speeding ticket.

NONE of those carry the same meaning as someone "charging" someone else with some action, such as if I "charge" you with being a colossal dumbass. That doesn't amount to a federal criminal indictment, which is what you're trying to sell here. You're actually asking readers to believe because a suit is filed in federal court -- which anyone can do --- it somehow morphs into a "federal charge"?

rofl.gif

How fucking stupid do you think people are anyway? What a moron for an IQ of 214.

I hate to tell you this but if your car battery runs down and you plug your charger in to an outlet on a government building, that's not considered a "federal charge" either.

Dumb shit.

And a lawsuit isn't an indictment -- which is what ''federal charge" MEANS DUMBASS.

NOR does your link indicate one. You made it up out of your own partisan hack ignorance.

When there's an actual indictment, by federal authorities, you get back to us, lying pinksack. :eusa_hand:

A federal lawsuit IS a federal charge ghetto bunny.

BULLSHIT.

WHO filed the lawsuit? The federal government? :banghead:

That ain't how it works. This is what "federal charges" actually look like, Pinkie:

>> Criminal charges were filed against two officials from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) and one individual from the Flint water treatment plant, the Detroit News reported. The charges all stem from the lead contamination of water in Flint, which occurred after the city tapped the corrosive Flint River as a drinking supply and failed to properly treat the water.

MDEQ district engineer Michael Prysby was hit with six charges, including misconduct in office, tampering with evidence, conspiracy to tamper with evidence, and engaging in treatment violations, Detroit Free Press reporter Elisha Anderson tweeted.

...
Stephen Busch, the drinking water office’s district supervisor for Lansing and Jackson, faces five charges, including misconduct in office, conspiracy to tamper with evidence, tampering with evidence and engaging in treatment violations. Emails released by the state show that back in March 2013, Busch wrote that using the Flint River for drinking water might “pose an increased microbial risk to public health” and “pose an increased risk of disinfections by-product (carcinogen) exposure to public health.”

Michael Glasgow, who worked as Flint’s water quality supervisor, faces two charges, including tampering with evidence and willful neglect of duty as a public servant. Glasgow was in charge of making sure the water sampling process in Flint complied with federal law under the Lead and Copper Rule. He confirmed that all homes sampled had their water delivered via lead service lines even though that was not the case. <<

The same article notes that a federal lawsuit --- which is what you actually have here ---- was dismissed on the basis of jurisdiction.

THAT is the difference, Dumbass. You tried to make shit up, and you got busted.

For the most part, federal criminal offenses are investigated by agents of federal agencies such as the FBI, DEA, ATF, Secret Service and others. Occasionally, state law enforcement officers work in conjunction with federal agencies. Federal crimes are usually prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the area where the crime occurred. Prosecution happens at both the federal and the state levels (based on the Dual sovereignty doctrine); thus a “federal crime” is one that is prosecuted under federal criminal law, and not under a state's criminal law, under which most of the crimes committed in the United States are prosecuted.
