thats right its the child tax credit not the EITC that gets people the money without paying any...my bad.

Either way........i think everyone who makes from $1.00 to $1,000,000,000,000 or more should pay the same percentage of that income in taxes without exception or exemption.

Ehhh... wrong answer... it is pointed out quite clearly by most conservatives on here that it is indeed income taxes that are not being paid... but as for the other taxes (state, local, fed or whatever) the rich or the middle class are not exempt from those either... it's not just those 51%ers paying those taxes.... but those 51%ers are indeed not paying into the income tax system... hence not equal treatment by government under law

Oh... and income taxes should be paid by everyone... if you are indeed for equal treatment.. and not just selective equal treatment when it benefits you

Report after report has shown a growing majority, conservatively at 40%, of American workers pay no income tax, ZERO. Meanwhile the top 10% of American income earners fund 70% of total federal income taxes.

Where is the shared sacrifice?


If those who are paying zero income tax were to contribute 'their fair share' perhaps it would solve this current financial situation--for a few months at least. But it isn't politically expedient to go after people who don't pay taxes.

This is a result of tax credits, loopholes if you will, that allow median income earners to pay virtually nothing in income tax. Obama is all for inciting a mob against the evil rich who are currently funding this unsustainable spending spree that has intensified more under the short two years, though it seems much longer, of Obama's presidency than it has under any other administration.

Record monthly deficit spending was reached back in March and has continued at $200 billion a month. The US Federal Government spends $200 billion more a month than it takes in revenue, and Obama wants everyone to believe the problem is the rich aren't paying their fair share .

But we're told that cutting deficit spending will damage the economy. That is the justification for this absurd situation: fixing it will hurt the economy; as if continuing in this manner is going to have anything but an apocalyptic outcome .

Americans have become desensitized to the constant cries of crisis that Obama has used to achieve the entirety of his legislative agenda, it isn't working anymore.

Most estimates are that about 48% of all income earners pay no federal income tax, the top 10% pay 71% of all federal income taxes -and the top 1% pay 38% all by themselves. That is actually obscene and anyone with a conscience knows it -but it is THESE people the left insists are still not paying their "fair" share. They know these numbers too -so why their phony act insisting these people are the ones scamming the system somehow?????

The bullshit that fixing the out of control spending spree will hurt the economy when in reality failing to fix it will bring the nation to collapse seems a weird strategy except Saul Alinksy's Rules for Radicals is to bring about the financial collapse of our system which will cause riots -and demands that government DO something about the violence -and gives them permission to take a sharp left toward totalitarianism and tyranny. That IS the strategy of leftists -they believe it is necessary to spend our government into bankruptcy because THEY intend to step in and fill the void when it collapses. They believe doing it this way is not only faster than trying to win elections they constantly end up losing again -but that people will ACCEPT it better and with the least amount of resistance when they grab power. Obama and hardcore Democrats are resisting any attempt to make REAL cuts because they do not believe it benefits their PARTY and their long term goals. The left will ALWAYS put their own best political interests first -and refuse to recognize there are many, MANY times the best interests of the nation itself clash or are totally different from their own. So seen in that light -it makes sense. Cutting spending will slow the rate of driving the nation into bankruptcy which is bad for THEM. So they say they can't allow those cuts. But driving the nation into bankruptcy is good for THEM -so they will insist continuing on with spending money we don't have is NOT a problem. Because it isn't -for THEM.


When you allow the bottom half to parasite off the other half in this way we already know where that will end up. We see it occurring now in places like Greece. It serves the political agenda of the left to create these kinds of classes of one parasiting off the other because the parasiting half are much easier to manipulate and count on for votes plus they can be manipulated to take to the streets to throw dangerous, scary temper tantrums which also benefits the left. But it is absolutely NOT in the best interests of the nation itself.

When a significant percentage like this has none of their own money at stake but the politicians are constantly telling them the only people footing the entire bill still aren't paying their "fair" share -then why would they object when Democrats insist the tax burden of those they parasite off must be increased yet again? Its no skin off their nose, it isn't their money and in fact it is in reality a not-so-subtle promise that the parasites will be allowed to bleed the other half even more for their own benefit. Raise the taxes on the only half paying them and clearly the other half sees this as a promise to raise THEIR benefits by doing so -or at the very least telling them it is necessary to raise taxes on their host so their level of parasitism can remain the same!

When a significant minority are groomed and turned into parasites, they have nothing at stake in the nation. They aren't supporting it -they parasite off it. They have no financial stake in it and they don't pay for it and worst of all, just like is happening in Greece, Spain etc. -they not only don't expect to pay for it, they will throw temper tantrums if it looks like their parasiting days are over. Democrats entire game plan is to increase the size of the parasiting class for their own political gain -in spite of the fact they KNOW the damage it causes to nations, in spite of the fact it breeds a very poor quality citizen and in spite of the fact it should make their skin crawl. Which makes MY skin crawl when hearing them campaign on their class warfare promises of opening the veins even wider on the half footing the bill for this nation. It takes a strong person to vote for what's right as opposed to their own best interests of getting something for nothing and on the whole people can't bring themselves to do that -Democrats count on it.

One of two things happen when half the population is encouraged to parasite off the other half as if they are ENTITLED to do so. Either the parasiting half bleeds them dry and the money runs out -as we see happened in Greece. Then the parasiting half who are poor quality citizens anyway take to the streets trashing, burning and vandalizing the nation and otherwise throw their dangerous temper tantrums -because hey, we all know if you burn a cop car and throw a chunk of cement through a shop window, it puts more money in government coffers, right? The intention of the left to wage war on the rich is two-fold in reality. One is to create a parasiting class that can be largely counted upon to vote their way and easily manipulated with promises of letting them bleed their hosts even more.

But there is more behind it. Remember we are talking about INCOME taxes here. There is no tax on someone's wealth. A huge percent of the truly wealthy don't make their wealth from an INCOME -so demanding the income tax be raised for the "wealthy" is not a tax on the wealthy. It is a tax on those who MIGHT become really, really wealthy and throwing roadblocks in their way.

George Soros is a billionaire several times over who uses his money to buy politicians and elections and to destroy anyone he perceives to be a significant opponent of the left. He buys up news media or the controlling interests in companies in order to present "news" that is biased and outright tilted to the left -he has his hands in every election and his stated goal is to turn this country into one more copy of a historically known failed system! It is his purpose for existence now. He has in reality a bottomless well in which to do this. And because he is old, he has set up a solid groundwork to make sure his money will be used for that even after he kicks the bucket. Why would he want someone else to attain that kind of wealth to challenge his stranglehold on blatant election manipulations? He FAVORS a HUGE increase in federal income taxes on the "wealthy" -because he won't pay one dime of it. It protects HIM by thinning the field of who will even be able to achieve that same kind of wealth who may not agree with his socialist values. He is one of THE biggest proponents of class warfare and the hardcore leftist Democrats like Pelosi and Reid (the bulk of their wealth is not derived from earning an income either) believe their own side benefits greatly from it so have no issue with the nonstop beating of that drum too. Socking the people still working to EARN wealth makes it more difficult for them to grow their wealth and end up rich and powerful like people like Soros or John and Teresa Heinz Kerry who pour millions into all sorts of hardcore leftwing organizations or the Kennedys who do the same or all the obscenely wealthy left who don't EARN it by means of an income! All of whom also keep the bulk of their wealth in off shore accounts to further escape other kinds of US taxes. Oh sure, they absolutely favor raising income taxes on the top earners because THEY won't be paying one dime of it. But THAT is the other side of the coin in their real purposes for waging class warfare -one is to create a more easily manipulated parasite class and the other is to throw roadblocks in the way of those on their way up who earn their wealth but have no yet grown it to the point that the major source of it is no longer with an income. It is to prevent others from achieving THEIR kind of wealth because the odds favor they will NOT be leftists like them. They want to keep the field to themselves. It makes it more difficult for someone else to even attain the kind of wealth these leftwingers are sitting on that is unrelated to any income now. Achieved back when income taxes were not at punitive levels. All this class warfare from the left is to make it harder for OTHER people to achieve wealth -by socking it to them on their way up and throwing roadblocks in their way -because THEY are seen to be as highly likely the people who would then fund and support their political opponents.

During this election cycle remember -while Chris Matthews only needs to hear Obama's voice to get a thrill up his leg, people like the Kennedys, Kerrys and Soros need to hear phrases like "fair share" and "shared sacrifice" to get theirs. So every time you hear Obama or some other Democrat utter those magic words "shared sacrifice" and "fair share", just picture Lurch Kerry and that evil toad Soros shuddering in orgasmic pleasure.
