Exactly how does Obama and the democrats intend to encourage businesses to look to the United States as a place to build it's manufacturing plants, and encourage business growth? After all, looking to the same old cliches of Republicans supporting our children buying automatic weapons, or a government health care plan that will prove to be more affordable in improving quality of care, didn't exactly win the confidence of the voters to retain the House .... and now the Senate.
Could it be the liberals are left with no real answers to the opening question, that the voters are sick of Democrats hiding behind political stereotypes when they can't debate on that issue and provide any real plan?
What is the answer, and can the left actually provide one without averting the issues yet again?
It seems we have experienced different realities. In mine the D's tried to reform health care during the first term of President Clinton, and the R's and special interests shot it down.
The D's gave us Medicare, Medicaid and later CHIP.
Then the Obama Administration took on the issue, which has been opposed by conservatives since Teddy Roosevelt was in office, and passed the PPACA, with zero R support, after a summer of a full court press trying to convince the American People that is was the first step toward Socialism/Marxism/Communism; proving that Lincoln was spot on as they were able to fool some of the people all of the time. They were easy to spot, they wore 18th Century clothing and parroted the bullshit propaganda so common on this forum today.
