Fish. Good or bad ?

I never realized a difference between sugar beets and sugar cane. The amounts I use are generally considered outrageous. My pancreas is a gift from God.
I use it sparingly in cooking and kool aid but I use honey
whenever possible, like coffee - black with honey- that's it. $10 worth of organic honey lasts a long time and never spoils.

Honey is good in coffee, as well as the rough processed sugar in the raw.

There's nothing wrong with fish from the Gulf.
In fact thats where everyone fishes....around the rigs.
The BP disaster was only 10 years ago, and it's only one of thousands of abandoned, leaking rigs out there. That along with chemical runoff from the Mississippi. The dispersants they used in 2010 have not been long-term tested at all, and if you think the FDA is testing everything thoroughly, you're crazy.

More oil comes from natural seeps on the floor of the Gulf than from all the spills combined.
The indians used to chew the tar balls you find on the beach to waterproof their boats and some chewed it like gum.
The left is rotting your mind.

As much as I'd love to throw caution to the wind and eat whatever I want, I think I'll take my chances and do a little research first.
Oh and BTW, I don't use aspartame, never have.

I live here so I have a vested interest to know these things.
And rather than a blanket statement how about you tell me where I'm wrong and back it up.

So do you hear it from the oil people or the tourism and fishing industries ?
Because often you get 2 different answers to the same question.

And you want me to do the research on your claim that crude oil is naturally occurring in Gulf waters ?

Here's one article of many.

Natural Oil Seeps - Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution

There's a huge one off the coast of california that the liberals have been freaking out about for years....

And this covers my other statement....

There's more if you'd like.

Don't like the taste.

I'd be happy to escort anyone up Portola Creek just beyond the campfire center a little ways in the middle of Portola Sate Park a California state park and let them smell the petroleum smells, watch the natual gas bubble up in the middle of the creek and see the oil slicks float down stream. The salmon that run up the creek every spring seem un concerned or at all phased in the least.

You should scoop up a 5 gallon bucket full and dump it
in your swimming pool at home for the grandkids to slosh around in.

I dont have a pool or grandkids. With an 850 acre lake just down the hill we don need no a stinkin pool around here.

Oh fer Fuks sake!!!
Just admit you were wrong!!!
So it's like that ?:71:
....The uncapped well leaked more than 300 Olympic-sized swimming pools of oil into the Gulf’s waters, making it the biggest oil spill in United States history. The leak pumped out 12 times more oil than the Exxon Valdez spill of 1989.

Now admit that YOU are wrong, Huckleberry.

We have to drive a couple hours upstate past Hot Springs for the really nice lakes.
From where I live the farther south you go, the more you have to worry about the nasty critters like snakes and gators. Red River is about 3 miles down the hill from here and some tributaries....the other day at the bridge I spotted about a 50 pound snapping turtle chasing a snake - I think it was a rattler but not sure. Don't know if he caught it because they disappeared in the mangroves or whatever - swampy area. One of those suckers can chomp your foot off.

LOL...the Gulf of Mexico holds 660 quadrillion gallons of water.
The Deepwater Horizion spill was 183 million gallons.
Thats like one drop in a 40k gallon swimming pool.
You wont school me on this I promise.

School you ? Not if you're this badly in denial.
There's no point in wasting another second with you.

Now I'm asking you politely to stop derailing my thread.
