First major Ukrainian city falls to Russia the rest will soon follow

A lot of the members on this forum have been exposed to such a steady stream of war propaganda, I swear, they actually WANT a war with Russia, they actually DO NOT understand the implications of that.

ROBERT PARRY: Playing Nuclear Chicken Over Ukraine

Nuclear-1.jpeg
Not wanting a war but against people being forced to defend themselves under an unprovoked invasion to subject them to the dictates of foreign governments. Should we ever be intimidated into not defending freedom? If so we all stand in danger of becoming slaves .

The problem becomes one of lines. If we don’t stand firm at this line where do we risk nuclear war?

As long as Putin is willing to threaten it. We are supposed to back off and surrender. If we don’t stand firm now. Will Putin believe we will for Poland? Or Germany? Alaska? Where do we decide the risk is worth it?

So what do you say? Where do we decide Nuclear War Risk is less than surrender?
There’s been a lot of motivation, and reason for Russia to go into Ukraine. A lot of people don’t like those reasons, and they don’t have to. But as far as Poland, Alaska or other such nations? I don’t think it has even crossed the Russians minds. It’s important to remember large areas of Ukraine identify as Russian, want to be Russian, and have been basically at civil war with Ukraine for quite some time. This dynamic doesn’t apply to other nations.

Don't be a tard. ... :cool-45:
Putin isn't going to invade any NATO member country.

I can take your assurance. I mean Putin assured everyone he wasn’t going to invade. We can trust you on this right?

The Ukrainians don’t want you there.

That is awful war propaganda.

Putin has no interest in Poland, nor Germany, nor Alaska. Those aren't historical territories of Russia. . . . and have been independent of Russia for at least a century. Some never a part of Russia. . .

Find for me any place where he has made a speech, or written that any of those areas are of traditional Russia sphere of security influence.

Nor do I see him making authoritarian statement like;

It won’t be long before your paychecks start bouncing my friend.

Where the interlocking directorate controls the complete lives of global citizens;

IMO?

Most of what you are repeating and echoing about Putin? Is just western propaganda. . . . Does someone pay you to be a war propagandist? Do you like coming off as more authoritarian and more war like than even Putin?

:dunno:

You POV is not based on reality. Don't believe me? Here, you can read this, Putin wrote it himself.

Every Russian Soldier Is Required to Read This 2021 Putin Article on Ukraine

"We will never allow our historical territories and people close to us living there to be used against Russia"

Editor’s note: Published in July 2021, and made mandatory reading for the Russian military just days later. If Moscow goes to war in the coming months you can take this text as its “Why We Fight”. Some select quotes:

— “The republics that were founders of the Union, having denounced the 1922 Union Treaty, must return to the boundaries they had had before joining the Soviet Union.”

— “But the fact is that the situation in Ukraine today is completely different because it involves a forced change of identity. And the most despicable thing is that the Russians in Ukraine are being forced not only to deny their roots, generations of their ancestors but also to believe that Russia is their enemy.”

— “The path of forced assimilation, the formation of an ethnically pure Ukrainian state, aggressive towards Russia, is comparable in its consequences to the use of weapons of mass destruction against us.”

— “We will never allow our historical territories and people close to us living there to be used against Russia”

— “Our kinship has been transmitted from generation to generation. It is in the hearts and the memory of people living in modern Russia and Ukraine, in the blood ties that unite millions of our families. Together we have always been and will be many times stronger and more successful. For we are one people.”

Now that the city of Kherson has been captured.
Western military leaders think the Russians will continue on westward to make a land bridge from Crimea the major port city of Odessa, which will quickly fall into Russian hands..
Thus cutting off Ukraine's access to the Black Sea for much needed supplies.

Supplies are coming from Poland. There was very little heading for the ports. It was known the Russians would be blockading them

That's right, like dominoes.
The sad part is these Ukrainians, instead of accepting the inevitable, needlessly permit their country to be destroyed block by block.

For what?

A puppet government led by people like this clown Zelensky?

Why?

Have you heard about Russia's demands having been put forth in December?

The global elites are all playing with us. We are their puppets. Including the folks in Ukraine, us. . . Putin, all of it. Of course there is no excuse for invasion, but, remember when the Soviet Union put missiles in Cuba? Would there have been an excuse for invasion or war if the Soviet Union hadn't removed them?

Why the Ukraine Crisis Is the West’s Fault

The Liberal Delusions That Provoked Putin

US gov’t knew NATO expansion to Ukraine would force Russia to intervene

". . . Ukraine and Georgia’s NATO aspirations not only touch a raw nerve in Russia, they engender serious concerns about the consequences for stability in the region. Not only does Russia perceive encirclement, and efforts to undermine Russia’s influence in the region, but it also fears unpredictable and uncontrolled consequences which would seriously affect Russian security interests. Experts tell us that Russia is particularly worried that the strong divisions in Ukraine over NATO membership, with much of the ethnic-Russian community against membership, could lead to a major split, involving violence or at worst, civil war. In that eventuality, Russia would have to decide whether to intervene; a decision Russia does not want to have to face.. . .

Burns’ warnings came true just a few years later.. . ."

The CIA knew what it was doing. . . it wanted war, it was trying to trigger one, and it got one.

Have you heard about Russia's demands having been put forth in December?
This?

1. NATO guarantees that it will not deploy missiles in nations bordering Russia. (They are already in place from Slovenia to Romania, with Poland to follow)

2. NATO to stop military and naval exercises in nations and seas bordering Russia.

3. Ukraine will not become a member of NATO.

4. the West and Russia to sign a binding East-West security pact.

5. the landmark treaty between the US and Russia covering intermediate-range nuclear weapons to be restored. (The US abandoned it in 2019)

I just read ukraine was pushing some story of shooting down an aircraft but it was actually footage from libya or something years ago
But the sheep will follow. They do it all the time. Why would war be any different?
Yeah, I've seen a bunch of tweets and screen shots that are actually video games, and some folks from Europe and America that are civilians holding toy guns. . . .

The shit you see is insane.

Not much to be honest…
In these demands Ukraine was only one point. Other ones included getting back all NATO infrastructure to 1997 year's lines and removing all American nuclear arms from Europe.
