Beat his girlfriend's parents to death. Guess justice has been served.

A firing squad in South Carolina executed Brad Keith Sigmon on Friday for the beating deaths of his ex-girlfriend's parents, marking the first firing squad execution in the state in modern history and the first in the U.S. since 2010

Trump needs to give death sentences a federal limitation.
I say they got 3 years to prove the cirminals innocence.
If not, OFF WITH HIS/HER HEAD!!!!

Several MILLION of OUR tax dollars went to keeping this POS alive for all these years, before they FINALLY took the trash out!!!

I Like that the lawyer who lost cried it was so violent yet the guy beat to death two people, that is a hell of a lot more painful

surprised not just a single shot to the head instead of 3 to the heart, that's the way N.Korea does it

Well, three rounds to the heart from high-powered rifles tends to make quite the mess.
I always thought that only one gun had a live round .. the rest have blanks so the riflemen wouldn't know if they were the ones that made the kill shot .. I heard that somewhere yrs ago [don't remember the source .. I remember hearing from that they've been doing it that way since the early 20th century in the US .. though I could be wrong ..

This was a particularly bloody death, I read online.

Still botched lethal injections, fiery electrocutions, and gas chamber struggles would encourage me to say, "Be on target, amigos."

3 rifles .308 at 10 yards will do it. It would be more entertaining if it were .460 weatherby or 12 ga slugs, but this will do. The comeback of the guillotine could spur public interest too. Put these people down.

Why don't they just use a phaser?

Or, they could stockpile 30 or so of them, there's no shortage on death row, and have a mad max death race type event down 14th Street in DC the same day as the inauguration. Let the community participate, too.

Close, but it was the other way around. A firing squad, for formal executions, was say between 5-10. Most had live rounds and 1 or 2 had blanks. It wasn't to have one person shoot a round into the prisioner, it was to have more of the squad shoot rounds but not know if they had the blank and therefore didn't fire a killing shot.

I would go for firing squad vs hanging, electric chair or gas. They take too long. Might be bloody, but let the shooters clean up the mess after you are gone

Still not sure about lethal injection. I have put several dogs down and they seem to just fade away.

If the intent is to end life with minimal pain, then the "Sarco Pod" is an alternative to be investigated.

It was developed in Europe for voluntary euthanasia.

After 20 years on death row what does another 20 minutes matter? Better if it were in the back of the courthouse immediately after.
