Fired Lefties Film Their Crash Outs After Mocking Charlie Kirk

"Doxxed" employees? Let them file their lawsuits. Defend yourself in court for some " malicious damage" you claim was the result of your own stupidity
The people running the doxxing sites and the people reporting on others are the ones responsible.
Also "stupidity" is not a crime. If it was half the members on this board would probably be locked up.
"People cannit (and should not) lose their livelihoods and be subjected to endless harassment as a result of posting an unfavorable opinion online.
As has always been the case, if you don't like it just scroll past it.
Problem solved.
while the employer was somehow malicious.
These cases are obviously going to have to be litigated in courts with employers justifying exactly which particular quotes justify firring an employee and why.
Simply using social media is not a crime. Neither is offending someone on sicial media.

Employers have wide latitude to Fire employees for reasons hey choose.
Wrongful termination lawsuits are a real thing.
If I call or e-mail your employer and tell him or her I think they need to fire you because something you posted online offended me then they damned sure better be able to point to an actual offensive statement that violates company policy before firing you.
Online posts pointing out Charlie Kirk's legacy of hate speech shouldn't qualify as hate speech.
If Charlie's own words are offensive the messengers bringing attention to those words now are not the problem. His rhetoric was.
Even if people are out there dancing and singing and "celebrating" this senseless death, that is their right. You have the right to leave a comment on their post calling them assholes, and then move on.
End of story.
You're a bit like the leftist loons who make medical diagnoses about Trumps health based on a Comment from another leftist loon.
Just settle down and take your meds. This is all going to blow over soon and once this distraction passes we can all get back to talking about relevant things again like the Epstein files and Trump's failing economy.

The people running the doxxing

Again: There IS NO doxxing.

Doxxing is when you take private information and publicize it.

These idiots already made their hateful rants public for all the World to see and judge for themselves.

Doesn't matter anymore anyway. The site has already been hacked and corrupted and taken down. Of course a new, similar site has been launched to replace it but it probably won't last long either.

This stuff is all over social media, it doesn't matter who curates it.

Chaya Raichik's account on X alone has tons of these morons.

So one website getting hacked means diddly.

The unhinged lunatic reportedly shoved an elderly veteran and a young mother with her child.

Booker jumped around, yelling vile taunts like “F–k y’all homie dead, he got shot in the head,” directly at people paying tribute to the Turning Point USA founder

More leftist tears
So long person.....calling her a woman might be a stretch.

Blob might be better.

Anyway.....arrested and kicked out of school. Not for voicing an opinion, but for assaulting people.

Way to go Texas Tech !!!

Ooh no...the restaurant who doxxed the lady for writing a racist note and then got fired because of the doxxing was just fine with everyone a couple of months ago. Now people say its wrong??

See above

Not really. The evidence is plain, and, employers, unless you are in a union, are at will and can fire you for any reason or no reason. There won't be any litigation. They filmed themselves being horrible people and the companies they represent decided they didnt want that kind of person working for them.

Simply using social media is not a crime. Neither is offending someone on sicial media.

See first response.

Wrongful termination lawsuits are a real thing.
these are not wrongful terminations. Unless it was discrimination or the like. These are people acting in ways that contradict company guidelines.

If I call or e-mail your employer and tell him or her I think they need to fire you because something you posted online offended me then they damned sure better be able to point to an actual offensive statement that violates company policy before firing you.

The only policy they need is that they think the person's actions do not line up with the values and the persona of the company.

The left are the ones who championed "speech has consequences". Just like that woman who got fired for her job for writing that racist note in the receipt. Her company decided she didnt represent their values.

Because he told you?

Hahahahahaha

Uh, no they won't. Companies hire and fire at will.

That was established back when the left was canceling professors who were simply publishing data they didn't like.

You don't have to committ a crime to get fired.

Sorry to break it to your bleeding heart leftist little self.

"People cannit (and should not) lose their livelihoods and be subjected to endless harassment as a result of posting an unfavorable opinion online.
It's the world we live in. People lose their jobs all the time.

Employment laws have already been shown to be not much help in this area.

I don't particularly agree with it. But.....you do stupid things (knowing full well what could happen).....you might get stupid consequences (which you are not free to choose).

Online posts pointing out Charlie Kirk's legacy of hate speech shouldn't qualify as hate speech.
Does not have to.

But, let's be clear....lots of people have been posting about his so-called hate speech for years. No issues there. Right?

Hahahaha....

Another lefty telling us what the law says (or what it should say....cause it don't say dat).

Wrongful termination suites don't hold in this kind of situation. You generally have to have some of tenure, have been fire based on race or gender.....

Companies hire and fire at will. That is the law. Your left loving Utopia doesn't exist.

Longtime Washington Post writer Karen Attiah says she has been fired from the publication’s Opinions department for “speaking out against political violence, racial double standards, and America’s apathy toward guns.”

Touch luck lady.......

But what's funny.....no mention of Kirk. Even though the article says:

Washington Post columnist says she was fired over her posts about Charlie Kirk and political violence

But...a lot of places like Salon are looking for just your kind of sloppy work.

I don't like that you were fired. I don't agree with it.

It is important to point out that people drawing attention to Saint Charlie's racist, divisive rhetoric with his direct quotes are not necessarily "celebrating" his murder. They are simply pointing out obvious facts.
People have been doing that for years with no issues.

Why don't you make an argument that means something.

Wrongful termination lawsuits are a real thing.
Private employers have the law on their side when it comes to removing a worker who makes public statements that the business views as potentially harmful, according to legal experts.

"A private company can generally fire an employee for public comments, even political ones, if those comments are deemed to harm the company's reputation, violate workplace policy or disrupt the business," workplace attorney Marjorie Mesidor told CBS MoneyWatch.

Vanessa Matsis-McCready, vice president of human resources for Engage PEO, a provider of HR solutions, said that high-profile figures in particular must tread lightly when commenting publicly on politically charged issues.

OOOps

Dowds firing was not something I agreed with.

He's a brownstain on journalism....but look who he worked for.

Then he complains......

"The right wing media mob ginned up, went after me on a plethora of platforms, and MSNBC reacted to that mob," he wrote on Substack. "Even though most at MSNBC knew my words were being misconstrued, the timing of my words forgotten ... and that I apologized for any miscommunication on my part, I was terminated by the end of the day."

Ooops.

I can do free speech, but others can't. Thank for that Mr. Dowd.

"No matter how private your life is, everybody has an audience," said Karen North, a professor of digital social media at the University of Southern California and a psychologist, told USA TODAY in 2024 in the wake of that assassination attempt. "And there’s always an audience for people misbehaving."

Publishing falsified or sloppy data is quite different than expressing an opinion.
