Everyone is entitled to their own opinion right? Saying you are "glad" he got killed is very callous to his surviving widow and children...but chances are they aren't reading the comments anyway.
Personally I think the world would be a better place without all the hateful rhetoric that Charlie constantly engaged in...but I wouldn't advocate killing anyone just because their words were offensive. Nor would I advocate doxxing people and trying to censor their online opinions.
