Florida restaurant operator is fired after his WIFE'S posts mocking Charlie Kirk 'upset servers.'

The right has slowly been warming up to the cancel culture they derided among the left for years. Since Charlie Kirk's assassination, they have fully embraced it. Unfortunately, these crusades tend to have an inevitable path that concludes in "Burn the witch!" It's not enough that people making the callous remarks are losing their jobs, apparently, you deserve to be fired if your spouse does too.

This was the initial post on X that called attention to it.

Sometimes the bad guys need to eat up some of their own tactics to learn their lesson. If they don't we just end up with the same problem a few years later.

Yes, backlashes can go overboard, but maybe this time they will take the lesson to heart.

The far left and far right are the same. Yes, righties are now the snowflakes and cancel culture.

Right now the Right is doing it over death threats and gloating about murder.

The left was doing it over pronoun misuse and being mad about men participating in women's sports.

These aren't equivalent actions.

As long as the lesson ends quickly. The longer this continues the greater the backlash will be once Dems are in control.

Two wrongs don't make a right. An eye for an eye is only valid in the event of justice against evil, this is not proper. You will become like Canada, a dead economy with dishonest zombies walking around.

Sometimes the only way people learn what they are doing is bad is to have it done to them.

The difference is we are doing it over a murder, not just someone using the wrong words.

I don't see why the left is so upset about a few thousand people are being cancelled and publicly ostracized. They waged a dirty, no holds barred war with Trump and got their war. Trump's fighting back. Now, all of a sudden, the left are on the ground, badly beaten with two black eyes, and they are screaming "Fight Nice!" If the entire leftist collective is getting its ass beat by one man, they better not be allowed to meet America's adversaries. Putin and Jinping would rip these neo-leftists to shreds in a NY second.

Republicans for the most part, generally have turned the cheek for many many years. To the point half the population or so became demonized. You still see the affects every day. To many people invade other people's spaces while not looking at themselves. Humanity of course has a history of it. The percentage of people abusing others rights is nothing compared to the past. And those who did got away with mocking and destroying people. That is you today. You cannot see good from people who have an "R" next to their name.
As usual, your post doesn’t answer what was asked.

I think the partisan right and left have a tendency of being for one thing one minute and against it the next when it suits them.

US politics is insane and needs Proportional Representation (and not, the US does not have PR just in case you're reading this and think this, like someone told me recently) before the country collapses.

Enjoy yer vindictive hypocrisy.

The repercussions could have been far worse. I think people have shown restraint given what the left pulled say after George Floyd.

I'm enjoying the left suddenly caring about "free speech" only because it's their speech.

What the right is doing is drawing a line on decorum, that being "gloating over murdering someone due to their political stance is bad"

This is not new

Prior to the start of the Civil War people who were on the wrong side of the issues for their specific location and spoke out were often harassed, beaten, tarred and feathered or sometimes killed

This may be a precursor to a real shooting war between the blue and the red

What's ironic is Charlie Kirk was assassinated over speech but the left thinks cancelling over it is beyond the pale

I'm all for implementing Proportional Representation when it is the best strategy for the GOP going forward and the worst thing that could ever happen to the DEMOCRAPS. At that moment will you still want PR?

The neo-leftists know they did something horrible and are trying to keep the conversation away from Charlie's murder and onto anything that can put the right on the defensive. But we all see through it.

You're such a dumb **** aren't you? You have no ******* clue what you're talking about. A waste of time you even replying without your "democraps"... what a ******* retard you are.

Oh, and welcome to the ignore list, enjoy the rest of your dumbass existence.

I'm not even saying the left per se assassinated Kirk, it's some indoctrinated kid. That said the left has tried to switch blame, tried to defend the reason, etc

It's easily seen
