Saying "all lives matter" was career ending.
The right has slowly been warming up to the cancel culture they derided among the left for years. Since Charlie Kirk's assassination, they have fully embraced it. Unfortunately, these crusades tend to have an inevitable path that concludes in "Burn the witch!" It's not enough that people making the callous remarks are losing their jobs, apparently, you deserve to be fired if your spouse does too.

Restaurant operator is fired over his WIFE'S post mocking Charlie Kirk
Matthew Readling, 37, was fired from his role as owner-operator manager at a Texas Roadhouse in Florida after his wife, Mallory, shared several Facebook posts mocking Charlie Kirk.www.dailymail.co.uk
This was the initial post on X that called attention to it.
Yep and dare to say terminating those cheering on an assassination isn't fair but firing those for saying all lives matter was acceptable .It made their heads spin and explode because they knew they couldn't get around it
I have told some comrades who are vocal on Facebook to stop posting there. You had better learn to keep yer mouth shut when in the "freest" country in the world.
You already said that. I asked you to explain how it’s different and you didn’t answer.
How about now? Go ahead.
If the restaurant manager had made these comments and the corporation felt it was embarrassing to their reputation, then I can understand. However, these comments were not made by him; they were made by his wife.
Its fine for dog videos and pics from vacation. I literally never post there and only look at it about once every couple of weeks for about seven minutes.I have never been a Facebook fan...
People who were “cancelled” didn’t receive “consequences” for what they said?It should be obvious. "Canceling" someone implies they didn't really do anything worthy of the response. "Consequences" are the logical results of your actions.
You need to learn the difference now. It wasn't important for you before, you had the lefty immunity - no consequences regardless of your words or actions. That's changed now.
Payback? So you think every man should control what their wife says? That is local to me and that poor guy did nothing.I call it payback.
Nope, you're ******* wrong. Do you control every word you wife says? If so you're a dick as I thought.Right now the Right is doing it over death threats and gloating about murder.
The left was doing it over pronoun misuse and being mad about men participating in women's sports.
These aren't equivalent actions.
Not sure this is quite cancel culture. I know I wouldn't feel comfortable at work if the boss' wife called me a racist Nazi. The whole problem with what was happening with cancel culture is that it leads to this type of retaliation, the time to put an end to it I fear has passed, i.e. too late to complain bro.
People who were “cancelled” didn’t receive “consequences” for what they said?
That makes no sense at all.
It makes no sense to you because you're a ******* retard.
I never said anything about the wife. It's a payback because of association. Were you angry when Sarah Sanders' family was booted from the restaurant just because she is the press secretary under Trump?Payback? So you think every man should control what their wife says? That is local to me and that poor guy did nothing.

Oh, I got plenty, or least I did a couple days ago.Oh, then you must have several examples.
