This evil woman should be put in prison for abusing the rights of Jan 6th hostages.

She jailed people simply because they were arrested for being close to the Capital.

Many of these people were suckered into going in areas that had no signage warning them to stay out.

Many of them were victims of police brutality, not guilty of sedition.

Now she's bawling and looking for sympathy because she felt that throwing people in jail for 3- 5 years for trespassing was justified.

It's good that she's gone. One more step toward getting rid of corruption in Washington.

These people always....ALWAYS believe they're above ever being laid off or let go. SORRY honey, welcome to the real world!

Those who do evil should never be allowed to hide behind the law to do it. Those who ignore precedent, context, letter and intent of the law in order to engage in politically motivated lawfare should at worst go to jail themselves or at best never be allowed to practice law again.

Well, it took them years to set up the system so they could....but they are hiding behind the law.
I believe they are. Those who dismiss or give a light slap on the risk to violent protesters, then who for political purposes prosecute/persecute people who have done no harm and intended no harm to anyone., are indeed doing evil.

Just like MAGA idiots to trash the prosecutors while championing the rioters who sacked and vandalized the Capitol and assaulted and injured law enforcement.

We have this strange legal concept in America, JLW...it's called "Equal Justice Under The Law"! The gist of it, is you can't prosecute me for doing something and throw the book at me for doing the same thing that others are doing but not prosecute them or only give them a slap on the wrist because they're your pals. Most of the sentences that prosecutors and judges handed down to Jan 6th protesters were completely out of line with what those protesters did. Simply being at the Capitol got them prison time. At the same time you've got violent liberal protesters that don't even get charged with felonies and are back on the streets within hours of being detained.
I wonder if that woman had any regrets about putting people without prior criminal records...people with families and jobs...in prison for years. Did she stop to think about the pain she was causing them and their families?

The J6 rioters, seditionists and vandals got exactly what they deserved.

Let’s look at some of the rioters you MAGAs have turned into heroes:

On March 23, 2023, Riley June Williams, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to three years in prison. She stole the laptop of Nancy Pelosi with the intent on selling it to Russian foreign intelligence services and attempted to wipe all evidence of her crimes, after bragging about her involvement, in the days following the assault.[156]

On January 27, 2023, Julian Khater, of Somerset, New Jersey, was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison. He used pepper spray to assault Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who died the next day after suffering strokes.[153]

On April 11, 2023, Robert Sanford, a former firefighter from Chester, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to four years and four months in prison. He hit two police officers in the head with a fire extinguisher and threw a traffic cone at another officer.[157]

On May 25, 2023, Stewart Rhodes, of Garland, Texas, was sentenced to 18 years in prison. He was charged with seditious conspiracy, receiving an increased sentence due to his actions being ruled as terrorism by U.S. District Judge, Amit Mehta. Rhodes was the founder of the Oath Keepers, a far-right extremist militia, and was the first to be convicted of seditious conspiracy and terrorism in relation to the attack.[163]

My point...which you don't seem to grasp...is that if you hand out extreme sentences to one group of protesters then under our system of justice, others that commit the same type of "crimes" should receive the same type of sentences! Would you like to show me the Portland protesters that have been given years in prison for assaulting law enforcement officers?

Your point was grasped. You can’t grasp the notion that the rioters got the sentences they deserved.

Think again about the Portland riots:

Here are just a few sentences that were handed out:
  • Cyan Waters Bass:
Received 48 months in prison for arson and assault, among other charges.

  • Malik Fard Muhammad:
Sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for possessing unregistered destructive devices and engaging in civil disorder.

  • Alan Swinney:
Received a 10-year prison sentence for violent actions during protests, including shooting a person with a paintball gun and pointing a revolver at counter-protesters.

  • Other sentences and charges:
Many other individuals were charged with various crimes related to the Portland protests, including arson, assault, and rioting, with sentences ranging from prison time to probation and fines.

You are just rehashing right-wing talking points to justify Trump’s disgraceful pardon of the J6 vandals.

Here's the thing, JLW...you just posted a huge list of liberal protesters that have been arrested and charged. What have their sentences been? Show me where THEY have received sentences that THEY deserve!

I edited my post to include the following:

These were just some of the people who were handed sentences:

  • Cyan Waters Bass:
Received 48 months in prison for arson and assault, among other charges.

And if you struggle with that...which I think we both know you are...perhaps you'd do better showing us all the long prison sentences that liberal rioters got during the George Floyd protests?

Even a hamster could watch the J6 riot and see that it was violent and meant to stop the certification of the election.

Unfortunately what you saw on TV was highly doctored video and audio.

There's no way in Hell that a cameraman could take a video of a rampaging mob while being surrounded by all of that violence and not either get the shit kicked out of him, or killed.

It was clearly faked. Every bit of footage that showed the malfeasance of Capital Police was removed....only to turn up later during congressional hearings....which fuckers like you purposely ignored.
