There's no such thing as overkill. Especially when it comes to these assholes attempting to interfere with the Trump presidency. They are at best committing sedition, and at worse committing treason. Punish them accordingly.

Maybe on Day One Trump will just press a button and all their cellphones will explode.

I want Congress to pass a law mandating that any bureaucrat/employee/appointee who is caught and confirmed in deliberately sabotaging or otherwise interfering with the elected leadership can be immediately fired and will be entitled to no benefits.

Could take any number of forms. IRS personnel deliberately shelving non-profit status applications for conservative groups. That was deliberately done.

Government officials or operatives pressuring Facebook, Twitter, MSM, Google, Microsoft et al to suppress information favorable to Trump and/or damaging to his opposition. That was deliberately done.

Deliberately keeping information from the Administration that it should have. That was deliberately done.

Putting moles in offices to leak sensitive information to the press. That was deliberately done.

FEMA personnel in disaster zones bypassing homes that were obviously Trump supporters. That was done.

Then they have nothing to worry about.

Most of the issue is in the upper levels of the civil service, the ones close enough to the appointed positions to think they should be running things, not the appointees of the elected President.

That, and over the past few decades Dem Presidents have been blurring the lines between upper civil service and lower appointee positions, making more and more civil service jobs, thus inserting people who used to be political appointees into the civil service and thus permanent members of the bureaucracy.

These people aren't loyal to the country, they are loyal to their party and their political view.

They are supposed to be gears/cogs in the machine, not the people directing the machine.

That's for the elected President and his appointees, acting as per laws passed by congress.
