He is right. The right to unionize isn't up to the employer. It's up to the employees.

We now also have a NLRB that actually works for the workers and acknowledges that the laws says that government must encourage unions.

Wow what a breath of fresh air compared to past presidents.

Hopefully, things will start to get better for the workers of our nation.

^^^ this moron is unaware Biden killed thousands of union jobs on his 1st day, on purpose, getting those union workers laid off in the dead of winter. Biden is a real asshole and this liberal drone ^^^ is pathetic.

No shit joe kills thousands of union jobs and the OP says he is for Unions

Holy crap

That's the left's propaganda for you. I'm sure thousands of union job families are thanking Joe for killing their high paying union jobs and telling them to go F themselves.

PROGS be dumb. Unions........
A. Take money that would otherwise go to employees.
B. Induce chaos & ineffectiveness.
C. Send jobs overseas.
D. Who would you rather hire a hard working illegal or entitlement seeking union snob?
They do the opposite of what you just said.
If that was true why do people hate Unions?

Slow that camel down champ, Biden may support unions, he hardly supports workers...dumbass.

The Right To Work Law makes Unions necessary.
How easily we forget how many people under GW were easily replaced by Business Visas and Trespassers.

FYI: The value of Labor Unions: Worked for and helped make following possible:
  • Weekends off and breaks at work including lunch
  • Paid vacation
  • Family & Medical Leave Act
  • Sick leave
  • Social Security
  • Minimum wage
  • Title 7: employer discrimination
  • 8-hour work day
  • Overtime pay
  • Child labor laws
  • Safety & Health Act (OSHA)
  • 40-hour work week
  • Workers compensation
  • Unemployment insurance
  • Pensions
  • Workplace safety standards
  • Employer health care insurance
  • Collective bargaining
  • Wrongful termination laws
  • Anti-Age Discrimination 1967
  • Whistleblower protection laws
  • Employee Polygraph Protection
  • Veteran's Employment and Training
  • Compensation & Raise Evaluation
  • Sexual harassment laws
  • Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Holiday pay
  • Employer provided-insurance
  • Privacy rights
  • Pregnancy and parental leave
  • Military leave (job protection)
  • The right to strike
  • Public education for children
  • Equal Pay Act: 1963 & 2011
  • Ending sweatshops/Child labor
A lifelong dream and goal of the GOP – historical facts:
  • Get rid of Unions
  • Get rid of Social Security
  • Get rid of Medicare and Medicaid
  • Get rid of public education and most public sector jobs
  • Set up a plutocracy or oligarchy (that is government of the rich, by the rich, and for the rich and count on “trickle down.”)

The President of the United States has NO BUSINESS taking sides in a private (or public sector) union election. It is of NO CONSEQUENCE to the Sovereign whether any group of employees is represented by a union or not, and it is a subject of enormous debate whether employees are "better off" being members of a union or not. The hundreds of thousands of steel workers, auto workers, coal miners, etc., can attest to the fact that it is not a slam dunk of wonderfulness being covered by a CBA. Interestingly, we have a big, healthy, diverse group of "transplant" auto manufacturers in this country, NOT ONE of which has "organized" employees, and they all seem to be doing just fine.

But are Americans savvy enough to recognize that unions are a SOCIALIST initiative? In a CBU every employee gets the same pay and benefits - the laziest, the most industrious, the sloppiest and the most diligent, and so on. Socialism.

Are "we" all happy with a President pushing socialism?

If all unions were gone tomorrow, which of those benefits would you lose? Why?
Be specific.

Of course the unions killed the American auto industry and the American steel industry, and decimated American manufacturing. Other than that...

Veggie Joe killed 11,000 union jobs his first day in office, Simpleton.

Unions are NOT anything close to socialism ... they are 100% American and have been since 1810. They serve their members for the betterment of the entire country. Workers have a legal right to form or join a Union. That is 100% American through and through, also.

There was a time when unions served their members...now they tend to serve the union bosses and screw their members.

I will never understand how some republicans can be so stupid.

They throw around words they obviously don't know the meaning. They only know the words sounds scary to some people.

A private company with a union has nothing to do with the government at all. The government doesn't own the company, doesn't control the means of production and isn't sinking one penny into the company.

Workers negotiating with their employer for better wages, working conditions and benefits is what the republicans demand workers do instead of the government instituting a minimum wage and worker laws.

So workers did just that. Negotiated with their employer.

What do the republicans do? They lie and attack the employee for doing exactly what they demanded the employee do in the first place.

Republicans won't allow higher wage laws, won't allow worker protections and don't want to allow workers getting those things on their own.

Republicans hate workers.
