ROFLMAO, the left has had the unintended consequence of raising interest in the Civil War and now we have more memorials, more statues and more awareness of the Southern point of view regarding the War of Northern Aggression.

A controversy about Confederate statues and symbols, including named buildings, parks, and even streets has caused many to be found and added to the list. You would have to read the link in the OP to know that. There hasn't been any new monuments or memorials built.
