The Gateway Pundit is far-right news and opinion website whose stated goal is to ""expose the wickedness of the left." It can hardly be considered an unbiased information source. I'd like to see your accusations about Bernie's background written in a reliable, unbiased print source. Got anything?Reminder: Bernie Sanders A Bum Who Didnāt Earn His First Steady Paycheck Until He Was 40 Then Wormed His Way Into Politics

(Gateway Pundit) ā As Socialist Bernie Sanders continues to take control in the Democrat Party Primary here is a good reminder of this manās shameful record.
* * * * * * * * * *
Bernie Sanders was a bum who didnāt earn a steady paycheck until he was 40 years old. He was a slob who lived in a shack with a dirt floor. He later wrote about masturbation and rape for left-wing rags for $50 a story. The Socialist then wormed his way into politics.

Bernie had his electricity cut off a lot so heād run an extension cord down to the basement. He couldnāt pay his bills.
And today heās running for president so he can take your money and redistribute it.
Investorās Business Daily reported:
Sanders spent most of his life as an angry radical and agitator who never accomplished much of anything. And yet now he thinks he deserves the power to run your life and your finances ā āWe will raise taxes;ā he confirmed Monday, āyes, we will.ā
One of his first jobs was registering people for food stamps, and it was all downhill from there.
Sanders took his first bride to live in a maple sugar shack with a dirt floor, and she soon left him. Penniless, he went on unemployment. Then he had a child out of wedlock. Desperate, he tried carpentry but could barely sink a nail. āHe was a shi**y carpenter,ā a friend told Politico Magazine. āHis carpentry was not going to support him, and didnāt.ā
Then he tried his hand freelancing for leftist rags, writing about āmasturbation and rapeā and other crudities for $50 a story. He drove around in a rusted-out, Bondo-covered VW bug with no working windshield wipers. Friends said he was āalways poorā and his āelectricity was turned off a lot.ā They described him as a slob who kept a messy apartment ā and this is what his friends had to say about him.
The only thing he was good at was talking ⦠non-stop ⦠about socialism and how the rich were ripping everybody off. āThe whole quality of life in America is based on greed,ā the bitter layabout said. āI believe in the redistribution of wealth in this nation.ā
So he tried politics, starting his own socialist party. Four times he ran for Vermont public office, and four times he lost ā badly. He never attracted more than single-digit support ā even in the Peopleās Republic of Vermont. In his 1971 bid for U.S. Senate, the local press said the 30-year-old āSanders describes himself as a carpenter who has worked with ādisturbed children.ā ā In other words, a real winner.
He finally wormed his way into the Senate in 2006, where he still ranks as one of the poorest members of Congress. Save for a municipal pension, Sanders lists no assets in his name. All the assets provided in his financial disclosure form are his second wifeās. He does, however, have as much as $65,000 in credit-card debt.
Sure, Sanders may not be a hypocrite, but this is nothing to brag about. His worthless background contrasts sharply with the successful careers of other āoutsidersā in the race for the White House, including a billionaire developer, a world-renowned neurosurgeon and a Fortune 500 CEO.
The choice in this election is shaping up to be a very clear one. It will likely boil down to a battle between those who create and produce wealth, and those who take it and redistribute it.
So it only makes sense that Democrats would look to Bernie to be their leader.

According to Wiki, which has no agenda, "After graduating from college, Sanders returned to New York City, where he briefly had a variety of jobs, including Head Start teacher, psychiatric aide, and carpenter.[24] In 1968 he moved to Stannard, Vermont, a town small in both area and population (88 residents at the 1970 census) within Vermont's extremely rural "Northeast Kingdom" region, because he had been "captivated by rural life". While there he worked as a carpenter,[26] filmmaker, and writer[39] who created and sold "radical film strips" and other educational materials to schools.[40] He also wrote several articles for the alternative publication The Vermont Freeman.[41] He lived in the area for several years before moving to the more populous Chittenden County in the mid-1970s. During his 2018 reelection campaign, he returned to the town to hold an event with voters and other candidates on November 3.[42]" Just because something is an alternative publication, that does not mean its articles are about sexual behavior or are base and crude. The Vermont Freeman doesn't sound like a dirty mag. He apparently worked many years as a freelancer. That's not 'not working.' Those people work just as hard, if not more so, than those with 9-5 jobs.
It seems he was a political activist in college and remained so for many years until he was elected mayor of Burlington, Vermont. Before being mayor of Burlington, he lived in a very rural (population of 88) area for several years, which is where he may have had problems with utilities and lived in a house that was not first rate. I highly doubt it had a dirt floor. That's The Pundit speaking. Maybe the basement had a dirt floor. Many of those old houses did/do.
Sanders became mayor of Burlington in 1981 and "was reelected three times, defeating both Democratic and Republican candidates. He received 53% of the vote in 1983 and 55% in 1985.[50] In his final run for mayor in 1987, Sanders defeated Paul Lafayette, a Democrat endorsed by both major parties.[51] In 1986, he unsuccessfully challenged incumbent Governor Madeleine Kunin (D) in her run for reelection." Though he did run for and lose an election for governor of the state, how many times did Drumph run for president before being elected. Or do you not realize 2016 was not his first time running for president?
"In 1987, U.S. News & World Report ranked Sanders one of America's best mayors."
He was Burlington's mayor for 4 two year terms and then did not seek reelection, instead teaching political science at Harvard. Yep, what a loser. He was a US Congressman for 16 years and has been a senator since 2007. That doesn't happen unless you are popular enough to be re-elected. During the 2016 election, he was actually polled to be more likely to beat Drumph than Clinton and may well have if he'd been the nominee.
I am not a Bernie supporter. I have not yet chosen who I will vote for. But I do believe in truth, not lies. A radical, extreme source like the Gateway Pundit is not a source to rely on or believe. It seems the Right must be very afraid of Bernie, otherwise they wouldn't come up with such horrendous nonsense. He is scaring you. LOL
