That said cops need to be properly trained as to the laws of their jurisdictions that they are sent out to enforce.

You could clean up this whole mess of bad policing, and idiots being given law enforcement positions quite easily. Require a 4 year law degree, as a qualifier for becoming a law enforcement officer...

The pay would need to be a heck of a lot better, nobody with a degree will work for $21.40 a hour.....Hell, I know I wouldn't work anywhere for that and I don't even have a degree.

You are required by law to identify yourself, NOT to produce identification, in fact I don't think it is a law anywhere in the USA that requires you to even have identification unless you are driving or performing some duty that requires licensing,

It's sadly true though. The police in general are poorly trained, and have little to no understanding of a civilians rights.

Worse, they go out of their way to attack legit people, who have no record of any criminal activity.

Then, they lie about the interactions and pursue retaliatory indictments when you sue them.

Those cops are scum and give all the good ones a bad name.
