Yep, whether it's Rump firing Barr or he refuses to follow this court order, nothing much matters now except that his hollowing out of Justice and ever other institution has caused generational damage.

My primary concern right now is his refusal to grant Biden transition people Pentagon access and his attempts to stage a coup using Martial Law or the US military to retain power. He is fully capable of these things.

We already have those safeguards Beef. You should familiarize yourself with the DACA process that Obama put into place. These applicants had to provide documentation and make their case. They also ran a background check to ensure we weren't taking in any convicted felons, show that they were in school or were gainfully employed, prove that they'd learned the language and many other boxes to check.

It was a PATHWAY that protected them from deportation. It was a promise and Donald broke that promise. Many of these kids are front line healthcare workers or in the US military. I guess Trump wanted to deport them too.

I'm not gonna go through this again except to say that the Zero Tolerance family separation policy was Donald's. Obama did temporary separations in cases where the parent WASN'T the parent, was a convicted felon, or otherwise a danger to the child.

Rump completely lost track of close to a thousand kids who we haven't been able to reunite because they deported the parent, shipped the child to parts unknown and failed to put simple steps into place to ensure eventual return to the lawful parent. Most doctors and psychologists see this as child abuse, and a lot of these kids are permanently damaged.

And of course like everything else with Trump - A deterrent via cruelty WAS the point.

you should know that giving them citizenship rewards the adult gate crashers who brought the children here

because they will all get green cards in time

my solution is to award permanent residency to DESERVING DACAs - and many are not deserving - and at the same time deport the adults
