Still happy to use it to embarass homophobes though as with phallometric testing shows those who id as homophobes are the most arroused by gay porn.

there are a few adult scenarios that I would view as deviant.. but then I guess deviancy is probably defined differently for different people based on upbringing, heritage, etc.

I think most porn is pretty much about humiliation. Although I don't want to "ban" it, I do think it has some effects on the very YOUNG men who are viewing it regularly on their computers. It creates an environment where women are viewed as "objects" and not human beings. I think these young men are disappointed when they find out that most women are more than just sex toys, they say more than "oh yeah, do me harder." Lol. Women actually think, have personalities and feelings too!

Undoubtedly. As seen with violence in entertainments, equal violence eventually doesn't shock and titilate any more so more violence becomes necessary tog et the same effect. As with porn. I myself started with Playboy and found that perfectly adequate masturbting. Over time though it got to be insufficient and I progressed to actual pornography. Eventually magazine X-rated didn't cut it and I wanted to see actual penetration so started with that. I think it levels out though and isn't a never-ending escalation since using my own experiences I've been looking at the same sort of content for the past 20 years with no need to seek anything but. You should ask the young guys who actually watch the stuff. I've had these same conversations on other forums about pornography and according to even the young men, it is pretty bad. Just another good reason to live with a person first before you marry, to find out if you compatible before you jump into a marriage, IMO.

Speaking from my "secular" self, I actually don't disagree with that. Even before I became a Christian, I had heard mixed reviews on whether that really worked or not.... still not sure, but, I think people need to make decisions based on what works best for them.

I have heard success stories on both sides.
