I like the older actors, probably because I'm 61 years of age. My favorites include Dustin Hoffman, Jack Nicholson, Gary Oldman, Lawrence Olivier, and Humphrey Bogart. Also Rod Steiger, and one younger actor, Johnny Depp. I almost forgot about Anthony Hopkins, he's definitely one of my favorites.

Yep. I realized just how dedicated he is to parts he accepts...and to the extreme. When he played Smaug...I was amazed at how seriously he considered the part.

Did you see Christian Bale in Empire of the Sun (1987)? He was 13 years old and did such an excellent job in that movie.
