So that's it then. Get ready to vote by mail, keep your social distancing and getting sick every couple of months through some random mutation. He is a little too sure of himself.
One thing this guy never seems to suggest change, is all the trade from the great communist state of China. So, the free citizens of the West MUST change, not the communists. They are the innocent by standers in all of this I suppose.
Maybe this cult of personality, should pack his stuff, find a nice log cabin in the middle of nowhere and take his own advice. As a data driven guy who sees that the majority of states in the U.S have only been minimally impacted by this. Maybe his advise about permanent change is only relevant for New York? If so, he can make that proclamation in Times Square and see how popular he is.
At the very least, he seems to be prepping the world for a life of abnormality. Does he not realize what potential impact this could have on the economy and investment? Is he really this thick? Companies are more cautious and investment comes to a halt with uncertainty and here is this guy throwing a grenade on certainty itself.
Fauci says world may never return back to normal after coronavirus outbreak
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told a coronavirus press briefing on Monday that the world may never return to the “normal” that was known before the outbreak.
He said that we will gradually come back to where we can function as a society again, but, even with a vaccine, the virus will be a looming threat.
"When we get back to normal, we will go back to the point where we can function as a society,” he said. He continued, “If you want to get back to pre-coronavirus, that might not ever happen in the sense that the threat is there.”
As of early Tuesday morning, the coronavirus has been blamed for 74,000 deaths globally. Health experts in some of the hardest-hit areas have reported a decline in new infections, but the U.S. is expecting a very challenging next few weeks.
