The father has claimed that they were only called because he made a scene about them telling him they would handle it internally. Considering this looks like it might actually be the second incident from this boy, it sure does seem that way.

If that pans out, people need to go to jail for this but I have doubts they will. I would think that the police reports can back up the reason they were called out to the school. The police should have been called BEFORE the father was even called to be honest, a damn crime had occurred.

Well said. This is EXACTLY why I am in favor of no parallel "justice" systems in colleges which used to just shovel it all under the rug, then they expelled the boy whether he did it or not. Now one hears they railroad the boy because of false accusations by the girl sometimes. There is a perfectly good answer to that!! Let the girl call the police!! Let the real justice system sort it out.

This parallel justice stuff is centuries and centuries old --- it's how Thomas a Becket got in trouble (and was murdered in the Cathedral); the king wanted monks and priests who do terrible crimes to be tried under normal, secular law --- the church wanted to have hearings on them and then just make them work in a monastary for a while or go on pilgrimage (and probably rape more women or boys).
