father of five was detained by ICE on his way to work. Now his family is losing their home

and yet 4 years ago before they arrived everything ran fine, you are so full of shit your eyes are brown

There were millions and millions here 4 years ago. 5 years ago. 6 years ago................................................

Its plausable

Anyone can post on FaceBook, Craigslist, Nextdoor, ect

No plumbing license, no taxes paid, and low, low prices

If he can do simple jobs he can make a living
.

For which he needs to be arrested again!

I've dealt with a Facebook "contractor" and the only thing stopping me from kicking his thieving ass is the fact that my Lord tells me I must love him as I love myself.

The article says the guy was fueling up at a gas station in Texas. Texas has a law saying if you are operating a vehicle or carrying a gun, the cops can ask for id.
I was traveling a few years ago with my aunt, and she was driving when she ran a red light when we stopped in Amarillo for food. She had somehow forgotten her license (entire purse)when she left home in Phoenix, and spent the night in the jail. Her boyfriend drove up from Phoenix with her purse and they turned her loose. She got a ticket though.
I know here in Arizona the cops can ask for id anytime they want. Last week the Navajo Nation president was raising hell because some tribal members got carried off to jail during a raid because they had no id. Once they got someone to bring their id, they were let go.

He didn't say that

These are the types of sob stories the media is going put out there to undermine the effort to fight illegal immigration. The man looks to be about 40 or so years old, so he had twenty something years to fix his status. This is on him, no matter how the media tries to spin it.

Of course the media has to find the sob stories.

They can all move back to their home country. Why is that so bad?

I clearly noted that I didn't think the article was complete.
Good, then.

Just something to know, because you spend so much time making statements like the above: I have never thought it necessay to read all of a posters comments in the past, or even on that thread, in order to answer a post that catches my eye. So, your petulent-looking statements that "I already explained that!" and whatnot don't really affect me one way or another.

I get why it would be annoying to be asked something you feel that you just answered, but I'm not willing to change, frankly.
Court rulings will bring more transparency.
In what way? What rulings do you anticipate?

The release of detainee's if the arrests are done unconstitutionally.

Truly, how long do they actually expect us to go on reading their BS and lies?

Scan for keywords and respond and move along.

Right his family can move to Mexico.

The release of detainee's if the arrests are done unconstitutionally.

Yeah but that isn't happening here. If you're in this country illegally then you have no right to be here. Period. Especially when so many people are working their butts off to become a legal citizen.

If a detainee is illegal and was arrested in an unconstitutional way, the court would release them?

Sorry, you just said that, but I'm questioning its accuracy. Is there a court case that says that an illegal, unlawfully arrested, must be released?

What would prevent ICE from waiting outside of the cell that the illegal is released from, and re-arresting him, being careful not to make whatever error was made before?

You don't have a right to stay here BUT you still have civil protections whether you like that or not.
