An incredible coincidence!

The proposed trial date also potentially conflicts with Trump's trial in New York on charges of falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels days before the 2016 presidential election.

That trial is currently scheduled to begin March 25. A spokesperson for the Manhattan district attorney's office told ABC News they would not comment on another jurisdiction's request.

I wonder if there is any case law on something like this. Normally, feds either convince states to put their cases on hold pending the federal cases, or feds decide to let the state run with their cases, hoping to gather more evidence to use in the federal case.

This filing of multiple cases in multiple states, at the same time as the federal prosecutions in order to meet an election timeline-based deadline is something never before - and hopefully never again - seen in this country. Even in the banana republics that typically use this kind of electioneering, I believe that it is the central Junta who runs the show, with no deference to any provinces that might also have cases.

Thread moved per board policy ti Law and Justice

Don't Taz Me Bro, earlier post of Aug 9th:
Some members have requested that due to the number of threads regarding the Trump indictments that we create a new subforum specifically for that topic as these threads are clogging up the Politics forum and this is something that will continue to be in the news for quite some time. Given that the admins are reluctant to remove or archive inactive forums, we are not going to request a brand new subforum for the indictments because then it will be there forever. What we are requesting is that going forward you place these threads in the Law & Justice System subforum.

The US House has opened an investigation on fanny.... it turns out she's been using federal money for a state case.... ooops. It will also come out that she's been sucking thug cock instead of prosecuting them, but no one will really care about that.

She was an awful cute baby.... hmm?

Time limits and exclusions.
In any case involving a defendant charged with an offense, the appropriate judicial officer, at the earliest practicable time, shall, after consultation with the counsel for the defendant and the attorney for the Government, set the case for trial on a day certain, or list it for trial on a weekly or other short-term trial calendar at a place within the judicial district, so as to assure a speedy trial.

Speedy trial

Election interference

calling states to contest the votes and having being told that your facts are wrong about the results and specifically asking for the state to find votes that would assuring him a win.

sending people to stop the process of congress in confirming the selection of president and causing damage and fear in a official government proceeding.

Accusing election workers of wrong doing

Asking Pence to not certify the election and change the votes

He has to prove the election was rigged. The Dominion issues was resolved with a win for them.

Fake Elector

Those are election interference

Trump on trial for his crime which is what happens when you commit crimes and is perfectly legal.

What's the big deal? He'll have the nomination in the bag by then.

This is simply a reckoning...four decades overdue. :)

A reckoning, Jack? Where did they teach you about reckonings in law school? Can you link us to the case law on reckonings? Didn't Yevgeny Prigozhin just have one of those "reckonings" there is Russia? Are you of the Banana Republic's Third-Worlder School of Law in how to deal with politicians the state would rather NOT have to answer to?

Makes it real easy then for a treasonous POS like Biden to both get in and HOLD power, doesn't it, Comrade?

Except Biden isn't under indictment. Trump is. And he will have to present a defense for his actions in outlined in the indictments, as he is entitled to do. Then a jury of his peers will decide his guilt or innocence. The rule of law. Something you should be celebrating.

All good things come in time. The heat on the Bidens isn't going away ever.

Then a jury of his peers will decide his guilt or innocence.
Get real. A jury of his peers in these kangaroo courts? You got to be kidding me. Whatever is left of these bogus cases after the rest is thrown out as frivolous, will be appealed and won in the Supreme Court. Don't insult yourself by pretending to think these are actual legal cases against an organized criminal mob and not just another flagrant abuse of the legal system trying to destroy Trump's reelection chances timed to coincide with and interfere with the next election.

Maybe a commie fuck like YOU would celebrate that, but us Americans will not.

All MAGAs should want trials now, so their leader can prove his innocence!

Hey MORON, no one has to prove their innocence in America--- jurisprudence says that it is up to the prosecution to prove their GUILT.

But thanks for letting your fascist authoricratic nature slip out yet once again!

BTW, how do you feel about Joe Biden proving HIS innocence when his time comes?

Bidens innocence keeps getting proven.
