IF it is true that any fucking school district is seeking to curve grades on the basis of race, is that appropriate. Yes or no?

If the article is false, then it doesn’t matter for that district. If the article is accurate, it obviously matters for that district. But either way, the principle involved is pretty astounding and deserves some attention, anyway.

I guess you missed the part about missed assignments and zeroes being removed. If they don't do the work, they get zero. That is on the student and has nothing to do with social factors or race. Nothing they notated had anything to do with race except for the fact that blacks and hispanics did not perform to the level of the whites when SAT failures were considered.

Well, if the school board asked teachers to curve grades upward only for those of a given race, then they aren’t asking for the scoring to reflect the actual grades. And they are asking for irrelevant factors like race to take a priority. And if you do give a preference to any one race based on race, then you are absolutely denying the benefit of objective grading to all other people also based on race. That’s called offical governmental racism.
