The local community college here has one, it was determined that a bridge over the road with people going 60+mph was better and safer than putting a random stoplight and a cross walk in. I’m just not seeing an issue the bridge is a smart safe path. Would rather have the. Use a bridge than try and play Frogger across traffic.

I would imagine it’s cheaper to go over than it would be under not sure how much an unobstructed skyline on a road is worth.
