I know gay marriage is such a popular topic around here. Just thought Id point out the new story here. apparently the people of Massachusetts doubled the amount of people needed in order to pettition a ballot vote on an amendment against gay marriage.
Of course the legislature has to approve the measure as well. Should be interesting to watch. I cant imagine a legislature ignoring a large turn out from the population though... Course they have in the past.
