EV Tires

I mean, if you’re charging it off of a hamster wheel.

Most people charge their car in an hour or so, at night when electricity is nice and cheap.
If it were up to leftists, we would be making cars the Fred Flintstone way.

Electricity is cheaper at night because there is less demand for it at night. When most businesses are closed.

Increase the demand at night for a million EVs and watch that price skyrocket.

Supply and demand.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, we need to tell our electric companies to charge us less at night.

You missed the point and then put up a strawman argument.

We are being told EVs are the answer, when obviously they aren’t.

EV's are a step. That's all.

As to the OP. Many EV's run on the same tires as ICE cars.

So, since energy pollutes, charging EV's with electricity doesn't pollute?
Depends on the source of electricity. It can be anywhere from zero pollution to some pollution.

Worst case scenario the electricity generation pollutes less than ICE.

EV's are major polluters. Making their batteries pollutes. Making many of the car parts pollutes. Manufacturing the electric to charge them pollutes. Transporting them around the world pollutes. Now, they go through tires four times faster than regular cars, and tires pollute, not to mention a set of tires for an EV cost about $1500, about every 7,000 miles. But, let's have the government mandate that everyone must own one so we can save the environment.

Tires are made from crude oil.
What will they make the tires out of if the idiot dems ban crude oil? And the asphalt roads are made from crude oil. Wiil we be driving on dirt roads again? Too much asphalt to replace with concrete.

They are a step sideways, at best. Meanwhile, everyone pays more for the step sideways and the more government mandates we can only buy EV's, the more it hurts the poorer and contributes to income inequality.

Have you been in an electric car? Most of them make everyone feel like they’re driving a Stone Age vehicle.
LOL. And this is what you are promoting? What's next, eating berries and no meat? Maybe the government will mandate we eat bugs.

I’d rather eat a fist full of berries than a bag of Cheetos.

There’s 8 billion people. Thinking about sustainability is the smart thing to do.

How about we make a business out of producing bugs to eat for all of the shithole countries to solve the world hunger crisis while the rest of us eat real food?
