Trump "terminated" Defense Secretary Mark Esper when he disagreed with sending active-duty troops to help quell street protests in Washington, D.C.

Esper said: "Who's going to come in behind me? It's going to be a real 'yes' man. And then God help us."

"Other than Esper, the officials who signed off on the letter include former Defense secretaries Ashton Carter, William Cohen, Robert Gates, Chuck Hagel, James Mattis, Leon Panetta and William Perry, and former chairs of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey, Joseph Dunford, Michael Mullen, Richard Myers and Peter Pace."

Harry Truman cut the defense budget from 90 billion dollars to 10 billion dollars. if Trump ever gets back in office, he should do the same, to get back at these disloyal neocon generals

They all have forgotten that their place is not political but defense of the United States. They should all STFU and crawl back under the rock from which they came.

Esper was despised by the rank and file of the Army when he was Secretary of the Army and this grew to the entire DoD when he assumed the SECDEF position.

Former U.S. Secretary of Defense William Cohen calls Trump a “clear and present threat to democracy,” and says he should be “subject to criminal prosecution.”

Payback politics may soothe the soul but it rarely benefits the country.

Authority fallacy.

Truth: there was NO disruption of the peaceful transition of power.

All these fucktards are LIARS

I hope the Deep State pays them well for their loss of credibility

When are democrats going to realize that they won the freaking election and the Country is falling apart under a doddering old man who can't even read a script.

It's fair to wonder if these constant threats of violence and gun references -- like those we see here every day -- are real.

They're probably not -- more than likely they're just trying to be more manly -- but a few real Tim McVeighs are listening to Alex Jones, Hannity, Tucker or Mark Levin as we speak. A few could get loose.
