Even if you believe Israel should not lose US charity due to the 1976 Symington Amendment (which forbids aid to rogue nuclear regimes), the latest example of ethnic cleansing in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem should end the weasel worded BS that assigns some utterly mendacious moral equivalency between occupier and occupied:

"MAY 14, 2021

End Military Support to Israel"

"Militant right-wing Jewish settlers encouraged and protected by the government of corrupt Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are trying to evict hundreds of Palestinian families from homes they have owned for decades in East Jerusalem, the Arab-dominated future capital of a Palestinian state if one is ever established.

"The settlers argue in court that the land in question was originally owned by a Jewish trust and should revert accordingly.

"However, as The New York Times notes, the apartheid regime treats people differently depending on their ethnicity: 'Israeli law allows Jews to reclaim ownership of land they vacated in 1948, but denies Palestinians the right to reclaim the properties they fled from in the same war.'"
End all U.S. support to "Palestine"?
Egypt?

Egypt gets 2 billion for 92 million people.. Israel gets 5 billion for 8 million people.
So you support giving taxpayers money to a muslim country that does nothing for us?

Israel replaces a base in the Middle East.
They do God's work in the region so we dont have to. What does Egypt do for us?

The answer is simple. We pay them to be nice to Israel

Israel does nothing for the US. God's work? Stealing property and killing people isn't God's work.
The jews PAID Athe Arab squatters to get their land back.

Most of the money we give to israel is used to buy defensive equipment from the USA.

Egypt is a huge country of 100 million. It is overpopulated. I axe again. What do they do for us?

BTW, Israel has the right and duty to defend itself from rocket launches and terrorist attacks from Hamas

Those Arab squatters have been in Palestine continuously for 3000 years.. Both Moses and Abraham had Arab wives.... Zipporah and Keturah.

Some of those Palestinians are descended from Jewish farmers who didn't leave in 70 AD. They sure didn't immigrant from Europe or Russia..

The Zionists bought 6% of the land by 1948.. The rest they stole.
They "stole" nothing. It is The Land of Israel from the Mediterranean to the Jordan. After the Return, and the rest of the Tribes return, that will be GREATLY expanded.

As a wayward "christian" you are fighting against God. So are the Palestinian animals. This is why they will never succeed

God has nothing to do with Israel's conduct.
He put them there. But your wayward church sides with the devil

If you are going to go back 100 years you will lose me...like I said this is 2021...we have different values today...you still haven't answered my question...what do you want to happen today?...do you want the Jews to march into the red sea?.
We can't separate events in Palestine today from their historical roots. A century ago European Jews known as Zionists began their colonial project of transforming Palestine into a Jewish majority state. There were ten times as many non-Jews as Jews living there. Today there are roughly equal numbers of each tribe in Palestine, and Jews are continuing their time tested strategies of appropriating the assets of Arabs.

Since there is no longer any possibility of a two-state solution, every Jew and non-Jew of voting age should participate in a nation-wide election to determine which laws they live under and who writes the laws.

From Nakba to Return: Resisting one more chapter in the ongoing Nakba – Mondoweiss

"The ongoing Nakba is manifested by the systematic expulsion of Palestinians from their homes (for some, it is the third and even fourth time) – in Sheikh Jarrah, in Lydda (Lod) and in Jaffa, among other places.

"It is also manifested in massive land expropriations and in the structural discrimination in the planning and housing areas. It is grounded in the same sense of ethnic superiority that translates into lynching."

Since Israel is the only thing standing between Iranian terrorists getting nuclear arms and us, now that we have an incompetent administration in charge of our country, we should do everything we can to support them.

Bullshit.

Nearly all the words and phrases used by the Democrats, Republicans and the talking heads on the media to describe the unrest inside Israel and the heaviest Israeli assault against the Palestinians since the 2014 attacks on Gaza, which lasted 51 days and killed more than 2,200 Palestinians, including 551 children, are a lie. Israel, by employing its military machine against an occupied population that does not have mechanized units, an air force, navy, missiles, heavy artillery and command-and-control, not to mention a U.S. commitment to provide a $38 billion defense aid package for Israel over the next decade, is not exercising "the right to defend itself." It is carrying out mass murder. It is a war crime.

Netanyahu and all of the right wing extremists he has brought into the government should be executed. They are murders and terrorists, no different than ISIS.

Actually, the Palestinian / Israeli conflict has the lowest casualty count of any Middle East War since the British were slaughtered in Khartoum
How many Americans lost their lives on 911 because of US support for Israel?

Palestinks belong in Jordan

Jordan has already taken in many, many Palestinians forced out of East Jerusalem, the occupied West Bank and the Negev..

Plus, the zionists have forced Druze of of the Golan and Lebanese out of Shaaba Farms.
Israel is so tiny and the Jews need land
Don’t forget it was the Arab armies who tried to exterminate them in 48ish

Israel was never happy about the land they were given.. They always wanted more and started planning the six day war in 1953. Moshe Dayan discusses the constant provocations the Zionists employed.

The Bible says its a sin to move ancient boundary markers. .. and I don't think God intended that they be thieves.
If the Bible says it's a sin to move boundary markers, then the Gaza strip, and West Bank are part of Israel.

We can't separate events in Palestine today from their historical roots.
So what are you saying...humans can't move on?...we can't change?...we must remain steeped in hatred forever?...

There were ten times as many non-Jews as Jews living there. Today there are roughly equal numbers of each tribe in Palestine
So what?...we outnumber the American Indian in the USA but we are not killing each other...again what do you want to happen?...should the Jews move?...and where should they move to?...and are you prepared to leave your home and hand it over to an American Indian?....
What is so special about Palestinians that they are allowed to hate their neighbor so much that they want them all dead....you still haven't given me your answer...what do you want the Jews to do?...I can tell you what I want the Muslims to do....live with it...its over...the Jews are not going to leave....understand that and move on for crying out loud....

Jews are ethnically superior to Arabs.

I think the OP should move to the Gaza Strip, where he can joins his brothers in arms.
Maybe you would be happier in Jerusalem?

https://inthesetimes.com/article/is...consequences-of-rich-nations-vaccine-hoarding

"But it all began in Jerusalem.

"The crisis started in April, when Israel barred Palestinians from gathering on Ramadan nights at Damascus Gate, the popular plaza in Jerusalem that leads to the Old City.

"Incidents of Palestinian harassment of Israeli Jews soon went viral on social media, leading to far-right Israeli mobs walking the streets of Jerusalem, chanting 'Death to Arabs.'

"The crisis came to a full boil in early May as Israeli settlers advanced plans to evict four Palestinian families from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem and take their homes.

"The violence exploded when Israeli forces invaded Al Aqsa Mosque beginning on May 7, shooting rubber bullets, tear gas and stun grenades on Muslims’ most important site in the holy city.

"Following the Al Aqsa invasion, Hamas fired rockets into Israel, and the crisis developed into a war."

Zero....Americans were killed on 9-11 because we support Israel...they were killed because we are a Christian based nation with freedom and rights....all the things you no doubt enjoy...but you can leave whenever you want...we will all be better off without you....

Don't ever tell me the left are not Nazi like....they would make Adolf very proud.....

"Social media users are demanding CNN respond after discovering that one of their freelance contributors, Adeel Raja, who has written dozens of pieces for the outlet, wrote in a now-deleted tweet that "the world today needs a Hitler." After some digging, it turned out to be one of several messages Raja has posted praising the Nazi leader"

CNN needs to lose their license.....

All military aid on both sides should be on the table.
As well as UN sanctions
Weapons blockades
No fly zone
If you're advocating for an election in Israel/Palestine in which all residents of legal voting age decide their collective fate democratically, I think that event would require UNSC peacekeepers (US and China?) in the Jordan Valley for at least a generation.

Setting aside the religious aspects of this,
Israel is an apartheid regime.
But
Prior to 1948 the British and Arabs ran apartheid states.
If Israel actually freed up its political system and Palestinians took control is there any doubt they would return the favor?

It would be nice if they could just say "Hey, you go be a Muslim and I'll go be a Jew and I'll see you Sunday!"
and
Polls on both sides indicate a clear majority would love to take religion out of the politics.

So the question is how does both sides eliminate the inciters who push violence for their personal political power.
In the US he had an election.

Here's hoping Biden will be able to influence both sides.

All military aid on both sides should be on the table.
As well as UN sanctions
Weapons blockades
No fly zone

If neither side will move
lock them in a room, winner take all.
The threat of that conflagration could move the majorities on both sides to act.

The Palestinians have no outside agenda or illegal motives.
They just want to keep their homes.
In contrast, the Zionists are descendants of illegal immigrants who want to murder all the Palestinians so they can steal all the land.
It is the Zionists who are immoral, illegal, and impossible to support.
This is not where both sides are equally right or wrong.
The Arabs are totally right and the Zionists are totally wrong.
Yep, I figured as much.
You either failed to read my post
or
You've no actual knowledge of the history of the region.

I'm defending no one here.
Put the Palestinians in charge they will act no different than the Jews.
In fact
Prior to 1948 they did just that.

I don't have any solutions except to take the arms supply from both sides, level out the playing field, close off the borders and let them kill one another by the million.

Maybe, in facing their own "Armageddon" the sides might throw out those wanting violence and decide to live in peace.
Or not.
In either case it is the only solution I see.

If you've a better idea, let's hear it.

Israel is the only Democracy in the Middle East.

Israel respect the rights of all people to practice whatever religion they want.

Israel does not stone LGBT folks or lock them up for 10 years like the Palestinians do...

Israel guarantees equal rights for women.

Israel is (was recently) one of our strongest allies, and provides critical intelligence that is helpful to ensuring the safety of countless Americans.

God bless Israel.

What Middle Eastern country do you prefer?

Jim

I did not advocate.
I pointed out that if free fair elections were held and the Palestinians won they would do the same to the Jews.
There is no "good" side in this.
So cut them both off, close off the borders, and let them fight it out.
Maybe the threat of their own Armageddon will bring them to the table.

What does "guts" have to do with it?
I can see footage like that nearly every day from many places in the world.

There are no good guys here.
Just 15% or so of both populations who will not stop till they kill one another.

I don't have a solution.
No one's come up with a solution for over 70 years.
This is not about Jews and Muslims.
It is about people craving power and willing to murder innocents to get it.
I say if they want to kill one another
Let them,
