I like the sentiment but it would just increase inflation. There would have to be some controls and creative measures to apply a scale to citizens based on earnings similar to a tax but this would be a reverse tax/refund.

Some might get $500 back, $4000 back and others nothing back as they earn too much.

Trump would be a hero for the working poor and unions. The debt/deficit needs to be taken down, that is the broadest way to help citizens long term AND also he must ensure the tax cuts are renewed.

Not only will it increase inflation but some of those checks will go to fraudsters
