See the following, Page 2-13, for drawing specs of 757-300.
Note that "B" is 7'-5" and "L" is 3'-0". This means engine nacelles are 4'-5" lower than the nose of the aircraft. IF the aircraft nose was 8 feet above ground, than the nacelles still cleared the ground by @3'-7". Close but for the short time at that altitude and speed, even if the bottom of nacelles were dragging on the ground, there was enough momentum to keep the aircraft on path for building impact.
