I don't get any benefits from the government. Never have.I doubt you pay more taxes than you get in lifetime benefits.

I want the Constitutionally mandated Government. We live in the 21st Century no company could poison it's customers without the entire world knowing about it almost instantly and being bankrupted the next day. This would happen without your godlike Federal Government and millions of redundant regulations. Then why do you guys want 18th Century government?
Frankly, I like the Nanny state. I like that when I'm too old to work, I will get social security. I like that the FDA keeps my food from being poisoned. I like that my mail is delivered on time.
1) Why did you care? It wasn't like your kids were going there. It wasn't like the rich kids who didn't make the cut didn't have other options.
2) Sorry, they'll keep doing it because it's good business to be diverse.
First, I will always be Jewish because my mother is Jewish. And second, why would I even want to stop being Jewish?3) Your religion is a choice. You can stop being a Jew tomorrow if you wanted to. A black person can't stop being black.
I once read a book that summarized what the law should be limited to in two simple phrases:I want the Constitutionally mandated Government. We live in the 21st Century no company could poison it's customers without the entire world knowing about it almost instantly and being bankrupted the next day. This would happen without your godlike Federal Government and millions of redundant regulations.
3 regulations is all we need. Don't poison/kill your customer. Don't poison/kill your employees. Don't poison/destroy the environment. Any of the above and massive fines will apply which all go to the victims not one cent goes to unelected bureaucrats or politicians.
I have intentionally been hands off with my OP BECAUSE I can see the Reactions and the majority of them, as expected, are in support of terrorizing the federal workforce, in addition to everyone else on Trump et al's "enemies list".
Not that this is news to me or anyone who is looking at the situation from a legal perspective. This is primarily because, at least for me, we saw how Trump supporters behaved when they attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6th but more importantly how they and their supporters behaved and cried, when they were charged with the myriad of crimes that they committed. I guess because of the Black Lives Matter protests that had been occurring they thought they too could exercise their right to protest by attacking our government while it was in the process of carrying out the certification of the election results of designating President Biden as the winner. But for whatever reason they never stopped to consider how what they were doing was different from the Black Lives Matter marches.
I'm looking forward to seeing how they're going to defend this after having advertised their reasoning as a reduction of the federal workforce by half <wink wink>
Move.It can be, if you have to fight traffic for an hour or more each way just to get to your job. Those hours spent in traffic could be productivity hours instead.
I'm not a federal employee, never have been.
The degree of entitlement is surreal, isn’t it?
(Also, bet you didn’t know that govt workers are paid a stipend for commuting on the Metro.)
What’s their fair share? Here's how you make SS solvent.
Make the rich pay their fair share.
Problem solved.
We could also resolve the immigration status for 12 million undocumented immigrants and get them on the books paying taxes, but baby steps.
I agree the problem is there. But I would rather have the person who is responsible than the one who has a long history of declaring bankruptcies when one of his scams fails.
….and that we have to pay for for them to get! They receive all kinds of bennies that the rest of us do not.
what article?Your response makes no sense unless you didn't read the article.
What is their fair share exactly? struth , asked you already and you didn't respond. Why? Can't explain fair share huh? just a word salad for demofks. Here's how you make SS solvent.
Make the rich pay their fair share.
what problem?Problem solved.
nope, that would only entice more illegals, you I see are not for american jobs or tax payer monies. sad.We could also resolve the immigration status for 12 million undocumented immigrants and get them on the books paying taxes, but baby steps.
you're just an idiot.I agree the problem is there. But I would rather have the person who is responsible than the one who has a long history of declaring bankruptcies when one of his scams fails.
Government workers are lazy. The government staffs four or five people to do a job that private employers use one, or even part of an employee to do.Well, at least you are honest. But of course, Trump will announce success and most of your cultists will believe him.
Yes, yes, we have been hearing this shit from you guys for decades, how the government workers are all lazy because they kept their union protections while most of the rest of us lost them. We were stupid for giving those away to start with. It's like an arsonist burns down your house, and instead of wanting the arsonist punished, you want him to burn down your neighbor's house as well.
Yeah, they had you make multiple trips to their office to do a simple task that you could have done on line. That’s governmental waste at its best. Unnecessary work done by unnecessary people. This is where you get stupid.
Currently, 68 million Americans receive some benefit from Social Security.
The Social Security Administration employs 60,000 people. That means they have one employee to lick 1000 envelopes.
They aren't licking an envelope; they are maintaining records for not only the retirees but also the people who are paying in, resolving issues, etc.
Now, here's an area where I had recent experience. I needed to update Mrs. B131's data with Social Security (Change her address and last name.) We waited there for about two hours before we got called up, and then were told we didn't have the right document. (My wife brought a copy of our marriage cert instead of the original.) So we had to go back home, get the original, and wait another two hours.
They had maybe four employees there, with a few dozen people waiting to see someone. Very few of them looked old enough to be retired, and none of them were in wheelchairs or such shit. I suspect they had "Ray from Cleveland" kinds of disabilities.
Now, by your logic, do you really think that situation will be made better by cutting them from four employees to two?
once nominated he will be. Amazing how that works huh? You should read up on how it all works. If Elon were a legit govt employee doing that, he would be axed.
I'm 68 and still working. Why does that bother you exactly?60 is too old to be working. If this nation wants people in their 60s working that is so wrong. Beyond wrong. Evil.
I'm saying a 60 year old shouldn't have to be working. That's unacceptable. Work if one wants to.I'm 68 and still working. Why does that bother you exactly?
Govt workers NEVER get axed.If Elon were a legit govt employee doing that, he would be axed.
