Remember, the ONLY reason why this bill has barely squeaking by is because it's not cutting enough to suit the FC's. If there were the huge cuts that needs to be in the bill, the GOP wouldn't have anyone on the right opposing it. And even if it doesn't have the 60 votes, it would still pass.
That 60 vote threshold is simply so the president can't veto it without a chance his veto will be overridden.

Imagine, conservatives fighting with the other republicans because there's not enough cuts being made. This should be a cake walk to make those huge spending cuts.

He has collected billions in government contracts through all this though. That was his payout for his quarter billion handout to Trump. My only hope is that all his companies crash and burn after all this.

I assume you missed the Jesse Waters show Monday when he interviewed the DOGE team members?

It was amazing to see and hear what they found, and how they are fixing the Federal government.

Its not just about finding criminal "waste, fraud, and theft", its also about tracking contracts to be sure taxpayers are getting "efficient" use of taxpayer dollars. Treasury had a $20,000,000 check cut that no one knew what it was for or why it was paid, as an example.

The good news is that they said that there are many conscientious government workers who are excellent programmers and can fix the mess. All they needed was guidance and the authority to make the fixes.

Literally anyone can come into a company, or in this case the government, and take a hatchet job to every agency and program and say, we're stopping, "waste, fraud and abuse," regardless of whether it's true or not. This has basically become another one of Trump's lying slogans he feeds to his peons and they all eat it up.

Watching his comments on this, he really does seem bewildered about the reaction to what he did. It's clear he was a little overcome by the excitement and authority and proximity to power.
