Since 2012, the economy has continued to perform as it had during the previous 50 years. Under Obama (Democrat), the economy grew. It continued to grow under Trump because of the tax cuts but that is mostly a 1-time thing as Trump cut them to the lowest level in over 100 years and further tax cuts like those cannot happen. Under Biden the economy continued to grow, meaning that the chart I provided continues to show the same results of Democrats vs Republicans on the economy.

and by the way and before you throw the "inflation blame" that has been bandied about by the Republicans, things such as pandemics (which cause changes worldwide) cannot be applied to what the Democrats or Republican administration results generate. Pandemics are things that occur where blame of economic results cannot be thrown to the administration in place.

I always find it amusing when people try to assign blame or credit to a president when it comes to the economy, because oftentimes, the party that holds the presidency doesn't hold the majority in Congress. For example, when Clinton was in office, most of his time involved a Republican majority in both houses. It was the willingness of Clinton to work with the GOP to balance the budget that allowed for so much growth in the economy during that time. There were other factors (like the rise of the internet) that were involved, but balancing the budget helps a lot.

The problem today is that neither party is interested in balancing the budget. Only a rare few people discuss it now, like Rand Paul and Thomas Massie.
