Only because the leftists in their cancel culture mentality attempted to hurt Musk in resentment for him restoring evenhanded rules for all. So yes, during that phase, hate speech did spike mostly due to THEIR posts. But keeping with his pledge to disallow that, his content moderation council has been working to cull out unacceptable tweets/content. The difference is that the standard Twitter rules will now be applied to all and already the hate speech has declined by 1/3 from the peak and will continue to do so. And we Patriots can now criticize or argue with a person who happens to be Jewish or whatever without being accused of antisemitism or racism. And we are far less likely to be reported/punished by 'woke' or angry leftists just because we disagree with them.
