I agree with Elon Musk on the issue, and I can't stand Laura Loomer, but Loomer is dead right about Musk being a hypocrite.



For those not following the drama on Twitter, Musk stripped Loomer of her status as both Musk and Vivek came out in support of hiring foreign nationals via the H-1B process. Loomer and other pro-MAGA accounts blasted them both for doing so.

The thing about MAGA embracing the techno broligarchs is that deep down, the broligarchs are pro- immigration. And MAGA is not.

Musk just needs to be taken down a notch...or ten. You all know trumps demeanor.....enough of this and trump will kick him to the curb. He's not shy about doing that.

Sad too, because I liked musk, but if he read has a poor view of Americans, perhaps he needs to just stick to being a businessman.

Nothing if the market demands it. The problem arises when a garbage man is making more than or very close to an electrical engineer, for example. Less Americans will chose to be EE’s and companies needing that skill set will look elsewhere. The other alternative is they can pay EE’s much more and then raise everyone’s prices. Where does it stop? Why not pay a garbage collector 250k/yr with union benefits and a pension? Unions artificially inflate salaries, particularly for less skilled workers.

Obviously the garbage man is in demand. It's capitalism. Workers aren't going to just sit back and work for poverty wages because they aren't engineers.

The middle-class has been struggling for 50 years in this country. It really got terrible in the 1990s when most of the steel and Auto plants closed. Despicable. Should’ve never been allowed to happen.

Well, many people have said those jobs will never come back and you just can’t have another situation where millions of young men and even some women could just drop out of high school or finish high school and get a great middle-class job making American steel. Well at least we will always have the golden era of the 1940s and 1950s to look back on back in those days. You can get an amazing job right out of high school. It just doesn’t exist anymore. Maybe it will never come back and that’s Sad.

At least during Trump’s first term, we had very low home prices and low gas prices….. people were doing ok then coronavirus happened and the horrible lockdowns and printing of trillions of dollars that came with it. Republicans and even Trump should have avoided or done what they could to stand up to the lockdown and printing of trillions of dollars. We all need to learn from these mistakes.

To start with, this program is MASSIVELY popular with employers. The program has a statutory limit of 85,000 visas per year, but employers routinely receive approval for more than 800k applications per year (868k, or 10x the limit, in 2024).

The man who bankrolls Trump isn't going anywhere. Please try to remember: Trump wouldn't give a single one of his voters a squirter of piss, if they were on fire. Musk's praise and money mean much more to Trump than all of the squealing MAGAts put together, times ten.
