Obviously the garbage man is in demand. It's capitalism. Workers aren't going to just sit back and work for poverty wages because they aren't engineers.

The problem is that unions and minimum wage artificially inflates salaries. Both interfere with the free market.

I was on an H-1B, so I'm sympathetic to those coming here on this visa. But the more I've read about this, the more I agree with MAGA.

That three-quarters of these visas are issued to Indians, that most go to the tech industry, that the largest users are Indian IT HR outsourcing companies serving the tech industry, and that there is ample evidence that Americans are being fired and replaced with H recipients makes me believe there is rampant abuse of this program and it needs to be changed.

Respectfully disagree. Unions help workers get benefits and better wages. We cannot have american workers doing the same exact jobs as overseas workers for something even close to overseas wages.

Those on H1Bs are not cheap labor. They are typically educated and skilled. They make the same or more than Americans for the same position. Those sneaking across the border are cheap labor. There is a stark difference.
